Nostalgia Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 Hello. My Skyrim seems to somehow be stuck in native full screen resolution (1920x1080), and I would like to change the game to windowed 1280x720, but for some reason it just won't let me. Changing it in the menu doesn't change a thing, and changing it in my SkyrimPrefs.ini doesn't seem to do the trick either. Changing the resolution of the desktop will also adjust the game, but it still won't be in windowed mode, and I don't want to change my resolution every time I play Skyrim + I need it in windowed mode for livestreaming an such. Any ideas?
Anatriax Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 Check your GPU's driver software (Nvidia control panel or CCC) make sure it's not forcing full screen.
TheUsefullPotion Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 Also thing i noticed was that the mod onetweak forces windowed mode. try installing that (it does this for me anyway) http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/40706/?

I am already using OneTweak :/ Not sure if it has anything to do with either SKSE or NMM; read somewhere that launching SKSE through NMM can cause this, but I am not sure; if so I have no clue where to find the file that can alter this? In the very beginning I was able to change it just fine, and I didn't mess with the Nvidia Control Panel. Check your GPU's driver software (Nvidia control panel or CCC) make sure it's not forcing full screen. I don't see anything related to fullscreen in the NCP :/
