TBBP still does not work...

So after following at least 50 guides i have finally got nothing to say. I've been looking for a guide that starts off at vanilla. Impossible. No matter how many links you send, the mods i want do not work at all because TBBP not working is holding ne back.

So a guide from vanilla (no SKSE installed)

Include all mods that are needed like SkyUI, Racemenu, CBBE, and other things. Include what to overwrite and specific information.

Problem:

TBBP will not work jiggle or do anything. I've got loads of TBBP armor to install and if I can't even get TBBP to work i see no point in Skyrim. Body doesn't jiggle when i take armor off and CBBE underwear and installing general TBBP armor to even see if it jiggles it doesn't work.

Did you go through my guide and install everything in the order I've said in phase 6?

IF not, you need to. 99.9% of the time it works.

IF you have, you're sadly the 0.01% chance that doesn't, and probably because you didn't follow exactly what I've said.

If you want to do it from vanilla, install SKSE, Then skip straight to phase 6.

Anatriax your guide helped until the part where skyrim got CTDs after installing SAFETY mods

So idk what to do I appreciate your effort and your guide.

All those other mods I can't remember the names. But they would keep the game from crashing.

I hate to sound mean, but if the stability mods and portion of the guide were causing you to CTD then you didn't follow directions, and could possibly be why your TBBP isn't working.

Would you list those other mods? They might be outdated.

Are you using Mod Organizer? That tool saves a lot of time when testing mod setups, as it takes a single click to turn each mod on or off.

No SKSE installed? Half the mods in that list require SKSE to work in the first place.......

And if now, the usual 'But I have an older Skyrim, I can't install SKSE' comes - go purchase the game, please.

Also, I don't think too highly of STEP guides, myself, since the older versions, when I started modding, sent people, including beginners, head on into the INI files and had them flip tons of flags and settings around - most of them being placebos at best, making the game unstable as hell in other cases.

My personal suggestion is: Uninstall Skyrim completely. Manually clean out ALL folders and files that remain from it.

Then, install according to THIS guide:

Another bit of advice: Don't install Skyrim into the default Steam folder structure. That one is protected by Windows UAC, which, especially when using Mod Organizer, WILL collide rather heavily with the modding.

Includes Setting up Mod Organizer (it is simply ages better than NMM or manual installation), SKSE, LOOT, Wyre Bash, ENBoost, TES5Edit - and has links to further guides.

My personal opinion is also: Video guides SUCK. You can't as easily go back in case you didn't understand something, the creator is too fast, or too slow for you, the audio is wonky, video might end up grainy....

I bet

I just bet

That you forgot to build the bodied and armors

If you've followed 50+ guides and you don't have TBBP working by now, that's the ONLY problem there could be.

Especially if you've followed my guide, but that's not really an excuse, because I TELL YOU to build them in my guide.

Give me a screenshot of your mod list, if you use mod organizer. Send it in a PM. I'll walk you through step by step after that.
