Swyke Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Today I've updated several Sexlab mods to the most recent versions. Everything worked fine so I keept on updating. Till I quited the game for having a break. After starting the game again my last savegame CTD'd on loading. Tryed again and I could load it, but now the game crashed as I wanted to leave the house. Figured out, that every save I have made while/after updating crashed to desktop at trying to save, wait, sleep or changing the cell (traveling, leaving or entering a house ...) Remember: I could save, load, wait, sleep while playing and before quiting the game. OK, decided to go the long way, loaded a savegame that worked (A save before I updated the mods, but the game was still updated). Played a while, saved, waited etc. Even quited the game and loaded again. Everything worked fine ... till the game suddenly crashed (while walking). Started Skyrim again, loaded my last save and ... CTD on wait, save, sleep, changing cell ... once again with EVERY save I made the last hours since I updated. I go nuts! Here are the mods I have updated: Estrus Chaurus from v3.94 to v 4.00a SLDialogues from 19a to 20a Reward your Followers from v3a to v4a (had no follower while updating) Dibella Cult/Sisters from v1.25 to v1.26 Dangerous Night from v2.0 to v2.1 Stories/Stories Divious from v0.52 to v0.60 SD+ from v3.16 to v3.2 and I've installed additionaly for the first time Hormones 1.7 Extra Voices + SlotAddon 1.0 Alpha From The Deepth This are a lot mods ... but the game worked flawless while updating and trying, so I kept on updating and can not tell wich mod brought the issue. Yes, I know it is maybe impossible to tell what I've done wrong, but I would be very happy if someone has some suggestions. I am using MO and I have kept the old configuration profile so (maybe) I can keep on playing without updating, but maybe someone has a clue what causes this strange behaviour of the game. Swyke Posted June 20, 2015 Author Posted June 20, 2015 Oh! Sh...it! Went back to the old profile, took an old save and thought: 'let's play a little 'From the deeps'' with the old configuration. Played without any issue, till the game crashed because I've made something stupid. Loaded again ... and same problem as described before. So either it has nothing todo with the updates, or MO has messed something in both profiles (I don't belive, I realy have installed all new versions of the mods as seperate mods and left the old ones for the old profiles!) or ... I don't know. I realy don't know. I have checked the game files via Steam. I have added two papyrus logs to the first post ... maybe I should quit Skyrim for a (long) while and return to TTW.
zniachtl Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 You upgraded MODS - well, at least one of them explicitely demands skse 1.7.3 - the newest beta - if i remember correctly from browsing mindlessly around it's the chaurus 4 I use it, because that or the real one leading me to 1.7.3's discovery led me to it, and have no problems -- but I still use 3.94 chaurus (together with spider addon) This may be the solution - or utter garbage, but worth a try I'd say: go to silverlock and get the newest beta

I've downloaded 1.7.3 already but didn't install it. So now I did ... ... but still no difference. Still crash on every attempt to save (Manual, automatic saves at wait, sleep, doors and even if I try to save the game via console) Someone had a similiar issue here on LL more then a year ago (Found via google). He fixed it with disabling TFC in Sexlab, but that didn't helped me. Other hint on the web didn't solve the issue, too. Right now I am sure that it has nothing to do with the LAST updated and added mods I have mentioned in the first post. As I have written in my second post the problem persists with the MO profile I used before my big update. So now I went back a few saves, loaded it and saved it again, waited one day, saved again, waited one day, saved again, waited a day, saved and quited the game. Started Skyrim again, tried to load the first new save I had made and the game crashed, loaded the second one, this one I could load but now it crashed as I tried to save again. Started Syrim again and went back to the oldest save I could load with this profile and repeated the whole wait and save thing. This time I could load and save the new ones. So I think there is a kind of a 'timebomb' in my saves, but how shall I figure out when it came in? There are almost one hundred saves between the first and the last save I have tried, and who knows, maybe the 'bomb' is already in the first save, but it needs time to explode. I tried to read the papyrus log ... I can see a lot of warnings and errors, but I have no clue which one are important or dangerous. And I tried to use a save cleaner but the one I used wanted me to make a save via console ... what leaded obviously to the next CTD. Now the weekend is almost over and I have to do other things instead of struggling with a messed game. But still every hint and help is still needed. Thank you!
Swyke Posted June 26, 2015 Author Posted June 26, 2015 Try uninstalling the milk mod. Oh! Thanks a lot for the hint. I was about to give up. Now I've read the last posts in the MME thread and it seems that I am not the only one with a sudden ctd on save problem. I will look if uninstalling MME will solve it for me too tomorrow ... [Edit] Just a brief test: After reseting and deactivating (uninstalling) Milk Mod Economy the issue seems to be gone. Thank you very, very much!
