Every newly created save file is corrupted

Hello,

 

I'm aware of CTDs while loading saves and random CTDs. I dealt with those things in my last Skyrim playthrough and always were able to solve them.

 

But with my recent playthrough, I'm getting desperate:

 

I tested quite some time to create a Mod load order which seems stable enough. Then I started playing, for several days now and my character is at level 20 without any problems. I dont use Auto-Saves, I don't use Quick Saves. Just manually saving in the save menu. But since yesterday, every save game I create is corrupted (crashes if loaded). I can succesfully load the 329st save (the last one working), but every save created after this crashes when loaded. I tried to clean them, I disabled mods, I tried to load them after loading the test cell, but nothing works. I did not add any new mods, I did not remove mods,I did not change the load order.

 

I can see a lot of warnings and some errors in Papyrus Log, but I'm not sure to which mod they belong or if they even are related to the CTDs. Its a bit frustrating, since I can play from save 329 without any problem as long as I want, but I know that I can not save the progress ...

You have a lot of mods on board that are demanding of your Papyrus Script Engine.

 

So basically you start the game and things seem stable and even good to go.

 

The issue is that as you progress into the game your mods start activating their active scripts after many levels of play.

 

I'm afraid the only fix is to be more selective about what script intense mods your going to play the game with.

Here's a good example of a Mod that you can install that at first seems fine but as its scripts become active you could easily start running into issues much later in your playthrough.

 

 

Better Vampires.

 

Since your typically not starting as a Vampire the issue isn't immediately obvious.

 

However it has a great deal many active scripts that are constantly tracking sets of conditions with each Loop update.

I'm not giving up yet. I know that I have a save (Save 1) from which I can create one other save (Save 2) which does work. After Save 2, no other save works.

 

So my plan before throwing Skyrim aside for some time is to load Save 1, run as many "Clean" options as the mods do offer, then do a clean save, and then throwing out some of the mods. This is a rather good save game with an interesting back story, so I'm not giving up that easy .

 

The only thing which bothers me is that I'm not exactly sure which of those many warnings and errors in the LOG are the main reason for the save game corruption. I know that it is the sum of the all, but if I have to select some to kick them out ...
