{Release} Soul Stealer, upgradeable 2H socketed sword

I gave the mod a go and I gotta say that I love the simple look of the sword itself. The idea of empowering the sword through kills reminded me of the Ebony Sword which is cool (Didn't quite finish upgrading mine). However, I couldn't get to upgrade the weapon more than twice (First rune unlocked). I am not sure if it is only me but the kill counter seems to be off, way off. For example, I killed about 70 mobs and still I couldn't reach the second rune upgrade. Even the first rune took more than 50 kills, about 65 I believe. The first upgrade took me 8 which is strange.

 

Overall, I loved the concept and I would love to give it another try.

The sword is fixed, I bugged it like a retard, check the sticky on nexus and new version.. you went to 8 on first upgrade.... that shouldnt be even possible ever.. rofl

 

Also it cant collect more than 1 soul per 3 second period and it will only collect the soul of w/e it last hit, (It's a magic effect adding to alias)  so if you hit 2 mobs with it, and kill both with magic therafter, it will only collect 1 soul, or if you kill 2 mobs right on top of each other, it will only collect one soul. Figured meh lol, probably add a second alias grabber to alternate so that it collects correctly, but this version collects chicken souls as well as dwemer souls so it's kind of easy just need any kill :)

Even I was legitimately shocked when I got the first upgrade at 8, no way such thing would happen but it did (I was spawning some tough mobs in a pack 5. Got it on the second pack with two mobs remaining).

 

Anyways! I will give it another try when I wake up, feels like I have not slept in years.

Lol ya I checked through.. should not happen even checked the weapon nifs to make sure they were pointing at the right weapons lol

 

I also upgraded the sword the whole way through with the stages to test, they went flawlessly so no idea

You'd probably hate me at this point and I won't blame you for that.

 

So I went and grabbed the new version of mod and gave it a test. The first upgrade (The repair part) seemed to occur faster by 50%. What I mean is, once I score five kills I can upgrade it. I tested this 6 times with different profiles and ended up with the same results. At one point I thought it might be one of mods that is conflicting with the counter so I used my Bare Essentials profile at the end and still same results. Here is load order of that profile:

I guess it is just me at this point, but I'll keep on testing and try out the next parts.

Lol 5 is correct for first I put 10 in description cause that's what it will be in DW but then again you get attacked by 10 mobs in the dw version right after so yaaa..

 

I should stop doing the uploads right after I finish shit cause I'm always tired lol
