Bard Mod idea

So, i was playing with the BECOME A BARD mod (that is totally awesome, to me) and i came out with an idea that imho would be interesting.
What i ajm thinking about is to make a mod which adds male and female groupies in each tavern once you get some renown as bard, who might ask the character for sex and follow the player in his/her tournee. Also, if the player refuses sex, they might follow the player and attempt to rape.

I use the BaB mod too because I love playing a wandering songstress who makes a living entertaining the folks (in different ways).

In connection with mods like SLAttraction and SLApproach this works wonderfully. My char sings (raise relationship ranks), gets approaches and has a "good" night in her free room. So one of your points is already covered perfectly.

And for the groupies there are enough follower mods which can be utilized to roleplay the groupies joining her. In connection you can use the SLRomance mod and rewrite the dialogues for initiating sex to something "groupie like".

I like your idea but I think we do not nessessarely need a brand new mod to achieve this experience...just my opinion ^^

Well, imho i think some mod to handle the functions of the other mods you mentioned would be needed, or there will be the risk of every function starting randomly :/

What`s so bad about randomness? I think it`s quite cool to not only have the same predefined npc groupies every time you play through the game.

With SLAttraction you can set the preferences for each npc individually...and with SLAroused you can turn them into nymphos....do that with your preferred groupie npcs and they will be the only ones approaching you...and they will approach you all the time as if you were a goddess ^^

...SLAttraction already has a fitting line for npcs who find your character attractive (when you check their stats)

Randomness is not bad on itself, it becomes bad when it makes 2 or more mods acting simultaneously, creating conflicts and screwing everything, though, lol

While you can't do it as a bard per se ...

 

There are ways to simulate that effect. I'm mainly thinking of "SexLab TDF Prostitution and Pimping" here. The mod gives you a power that makes you dance for a while, after which people naturally come to you. A Bard and Dancer is an attractive idea, and not so unrealistic.

 

Obviously, it'd be nice you could do without pretending, and the idea is rather nice and immersive, but hey, in the meanwhile ...

Where is the pretending? I mean the npcs like your character and come to ask her for sex...with Lollers ideas realized in a new mod that one would do exactly the same thing...only difference would be the initiation...and this can be done with rewriting some dialogues.

 

@Loller: SLAttraction and SLApproach were made to work together...in the beginning those 2 mods were one and the same mod...these just became separated in later development phases. So if you are afraid that these 2 mods will screw up your game then I am impressed that you play with the Become a Bard mod

No, i am not talking about those two specifically.....I was talking in general. I use a lot of mods (and i mean A LOT) and often something breaks something else and disasters happen.....

Imho, keeping the scripts handling as simplest as possible would be a nice thing

Well, my suggestion pretty much came down to "download a prostitution mod that allows you to dance to make people come to you for sex while using Become a Bard on the side". Since it's not exactly what OP's looking for I'm considering it as pretending, because unless you actually like the idea of your character being a dancer as well as/instead of a bard, you're pretty much filling the gap by pretending.

 

Not to mention NPCs are going to approach you as a customer looking for a whore, not a fan looking to buy you a drink and get laid.

 

 

 

On a side note, someone could probably swap out TDF Prostitution's dance animation by bard animations and ask the author if he could release it as a add-on, or OP could look into it himself and simply swap it out for his game only. All that would be left is changing most of the text with less whore-oriented stuff.

Eh, i would do it if i had even the slightest knowledge of how CK, animations, and/or scripts work
