general modding instructions

hey there,

as I wanted to fully join in Skyrim again when I got a PC that can handle it with the most  beautiful mods, I now got the hardware to do so. (gtx 970, xeon e3, 8gb).

Thats why I wanted to start modding it to make it look as beautiful as possible, found a few guides but none including adult mods, which I actually would really like to have the full experience.

So before Im starting randomly installing mods Id like I thought Id better ask you for help for what mods I should aim for and in which order to install them (also NMM or the Mod Organizer?).

Is there already a guide like that somewhere that I couldnt find, like including SexLab etc. but also Texture Modding generally?

Id like to keep it "relatively" lore-friendly too.

So well, is there any advice how I should start that without completely "crashing" the game?

(I once followed the STEP guide to mod Skyrim, which worked pretty well - apart from my rig couldnt run it at all at that time - but as I installed the adult mods in the end (like AP or sth) it completely crashed the game)

Well, thanks in advance

greetings

well thats been fast - looks like what Ive been looking for, will try it - thanks alot :)

edit: just one question - if I would like to try installing few other mods (like SexLab mods for example, I know you wrote youre gonna test it), does it matter at which time of the process I install them?

Yes. Install any additional mods after phase 7 and before phase 8. That way they're at the bottom of your list in MO, and you can easily find them if they cause problems.
