Loopy06 Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Hello, I have installed TTW and some other quest / land mods. I haven't started any dlc and haven't left DC yet and my saves are already in the 10Mb range. I would like to know if there's a limit to save size the game can handle. Have I installed too much mods, and is there a way not to increase saves size too quickly (like not to loot too much junk or open every container I see) ? Thanks for the replies.

My concern is about save size and how high it can go without issues, and eventualy tips to keep it low. I use CASM and avoid completely the use of auto/quick saves.
Guest Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 I don't know if there's a limit but 10 Mb is definetely under my middle values. As reference, checking old saves when I still was playing, they were 18-20 Mb.
Imperfection Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 For Fallout 3 I have saves in the 32MB range with a heavily moded game, 121 active plugins. For Fallout NV my saves are currently 14MB with 81 active plugins and both games work fine. The quicksave plugin that was in the link by endgameaddiction uses the quicksave keys but does a full save not a quicksave. I use it currently and have had zero problems.
