Archive Invalidation

If you are using FOMM, it's not necessary to use this. FOMM has a built in installer/uninstaller for AII. Now, I would suggest this or the older versions (manual or auto) from Nexus over Mod Organizer. That's if you use MO.

If you use NMM, can't make any suggestions for that since I don't use that one.

Edit: Looked at that further, that's actually a handy program for administrating texture files. But again, it's not really necessary since you can do this same exact thing with the built in version from FOMM. Just takes a few clicks after you have installed new textures. However, This might be a better way to go instead of the older versions of AII I mentioned above.

Hmm, I am using FOMM, but I was having trouble with some of my reskins. When I checked, I saw there wasn't an archive invalidation file, so I made one, copy/pasted the necessary text, etc.

Have had no problems since. I had thought that FOMM did it for you, but after having fixed the problem myself I assumed I was wrong.

Is there something I have to do through FOMM to prompt it to do it for me? I've perused the settings but nothing has seemed overtly directed for archive invalidation.

Thanks.

FOMM should handle everything for you with the installer/uninstaller. BSA and modifying fallout.ini file. If it's not working for you, probably best to just use this utility then.

I think I'm going to start using it myself. Since I use MO I can resort to any of them, but I have to copy n paste the ini to my MO/profiles for it to work. At least with this program I can direct it to the ini file I want edited, which saves me time. Thought I could but doesn't matter this is still a useful prog. So thanks. :) wouldn't have known about it if you didn't post it.
