Nightmyste Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 got the annoying bug where i try to enter whiterun from a save (any save) but it constantly CTDs for some reason got the log here if you want a load order as well just say so well as requested; the load order Papyrus.0.log plugins1.txt
Ashkandii Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 could be numerous things Have any mods that alter white run?any Texture Mods? conflicting mods? you could be running out of memory in the area. Not a papyrus expert but i know how to fix things without really looking at it so.
Nightmyste Posted May 25, 2015 Author Posted May 25, 2015 only thing altered is breezehome also cleaned my mods and had LOOT checking it up
Josephine Loire Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 I had so many CTD that i got accustomed to it. Like Bjerger said, it could all of that. My physical memory goes to 90% when loading Whiterun. Actually i think it's the heavier city. Got some huge lags on Riften too, but my Whiterun is modded, Slaverun. One of the most underrated issue, is when you install some heavy mod that require a new game. Yeah, some mods needs that. I'm not 100% sure why, because i'm not a genius at modding this game.. but, after weeks of working, i think i can say somethings for sure. Could you post your load order too? So we can help you if some mods are conflicting. And, something that i, personally, would like to know. Are you using NMM or MO? (Nexus Mod Manager or Mod Organizer) Or another program?
Nightmyste Posted May 25, 2015 Author Posted May 25, 2015 i'll try to get load order up an i'm using nmm never could mo to Work as for new game i just finished reinstalling the game so yeah it's fresh
Josephine Loire Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Then, like i was told some times ago, it's probably a nif problem. (The files from the body and the skeleton, i think xD) Some people say that MO is harder to use compared to NMM. Actually it was the opposite for me. Why? Because MO never overwrite files. So, if you're not accustomed to modding Skyrim, you don't know what needs to be overwrited or not. And by installing my body mod, with NMM, i made a complete mess of the game. With MO you just place the files in the right order, and he reads what must be readed. So, even if you have two identical files, MO load just the one that has higher priority. Not saying that you must use MO, but that's probably the problem. PROBABLY x° I'll see the load order and if i can't help, i'll leave it to someone better than me x)
Nightmyste Posted May 25, 2015 Author Posted May 25, 2015 never had a problem with nmm and iused it nearly from day 1
Josephine Loire Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Yeah i didn't say it's NMM, i said that i made a mess because i overwrited the wrong files. I'm blaming myself, not the program, don't worry. Just copy the load order ^^
Nightmyste Posted May 25, 2015 Author Posted May 25, 2015 nice info but that sadly doesn't apply to my issue as i hav restarted several times in an attempt to solve the matter
Ashkandii Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 to my best guess its mainly something to do with scripts, i for one always use to crash with lots of script heavy mods, now i barely use any my game is completely fine, it may not be whiterun itself, but the Main area and lots of scripts running at once when trying to enter whiterun, have you tried entering into different cities, markarth solitude riften windhelm?
Josephine Loire Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Just out of curiosity, which body have you installed? With which skeleton?
Nightmyste Posted May 25, 2015 Author Posted May 25, 2015 using cbbe with xpms (not groovtama) should be in my mod list
Josephine Loire Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Actually no, because the bodies do not install file esp or esm, that's why i asked. :3 Dude, you ain't got this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/601/? A requirement for the XPMS skeleton. xD
Nightmyste Posted May 28, 2015 Author Posted May 28, 2015 Actually it is required for groovtama, not the standard 1.94 xpms and i had trouble getting the swords on the back with groovtama which is why i went back to standard
Josephine Loire Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/26800/? This is required in both, at least the page say that. But i don't think that it's the main problem..
Nightmyste Posted May 29, 2015 Author Posted May 29, 2015 never used it before however it looks like i found my solution on youtube, but for some reason i can't seem to post a link for those who have the same issue
Nightmyste Posted May 29, 2015 Author Posted May 29, 2015 skyrim-meshes.bsa file used bsa extractor on it, and it seems to have fixed it for now...
