lordhalmar Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 No clue what mod did it but i updated a few and none of the ones i updated tied into DA but now the ONLY scenarios that will trigger are the DA rescued ones. Like the wandering brigand or I appear in an inn or something like that. I use MO and can see that nothing is overwriting it. I even set the mod I wanted to test to 99 and it won't trigger. Any ideas what could have caused this? Everything worked fine when i updated to the most recent version of MO. This is what i get for not checking new updates for a week or 2
Gameplayer Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 By default you have roughly a 50% chance of a friendly event happening. Then there are mods that alter the outcome of what can happen. IE defeat SD plus some others So basically just saying Death Alternative well come on what else is in there? Other than that 50% chance of friendly encounter is quite high and with the way chance works and then the weighting system to boot sorry man its quite likely you would get a run of rescues.
lordhalmar Posted May 20, 2015 Author Posted May 20, 2015 But if i turn off the rescues I succumb to my wounds and just die. I have 2 or 3 mods that tie in. SD+ and simple slavery are the 2 i can think of right now. They wont trigger even if set at 99. Seems i may be the only person having this issue recently.

I have all of those mods, and way way more plugged in. Thing is I use Mod Organizer to avoid installation order issues, which this is most likely an overwrite issue caused by another mod. The problem becomes what to do next? If your manually installing or using Nexus Mod Manager this is where things get painful. You may have to uninstall these mods and then reinstall them. I think the best installation order would be. Daymol SD+ Simple Slavery Defeat --->Be sure to check Daymol OPTIONS section and the Comments of the Author that he has pinned it may be as simple as missing a file thinking it was optional. ----------- If this doesn't resolve the issue you may have a bigger issue due to installation order from earlier in your installation of mods.... I know ppl hate me for saying this but Mod Organizer is very easy to get the hang of, its much more friendly and useful. For instance, I never worry about the order I install mods on it, I just throw them in willy nilly crazy....Then MO tells me "hey boss you fucked up the order want me to fix that for you?"
lordhalmar Posted May 20, 2015 Author Posted May 20, 2015 I use MO myself. It tells me really quick if something was overwritten. It is not in any way. I will just start removing mods added in the last 2 weeks and rolling back updated ones after wards to see if i can find what made it stop working. It has to be either something that ties into DAYMOYL or someone added something they didnt need too? The mods that tie into DA still work when you activate them outside of DA Unless the bashed patch changed something... Hrmmm.
