[Idea] Let the invasion on tamriel commence

Background for idea

A Long time  ago (nearly ten years) i was back in middle school and there was a hot new card game called Chaotic. this game featured 4 distinct tribes battling it out over control of a continent very much like skyrim. i was hooked onto this game. about a year or so afterwards a fifth tribe was introduced. The M'ARRILLIANS a species of aquatic beings that could control the minds of the other creatures of the land. Their goal? to flood the world and make it a home sutible for themselves.

 

So what does this have to do with Skyrim you may be asking? Well I got to thinking about how introducing the M'arrilians to Skyrim could make for an epic quest mod!

 

Imagine this! The dragonborn meets an odd stranger while out and about. this stranger tells the dragonborn about an old crypt located in a cave near the sea of ghosts and that if the dragonborn were to open this crypt he/she would gain unimaginable power! The dragonborn intrigued by this goes to the crypt and after defeating its guardians opens it. and all hell breaks loose. Now with the M'arrilians freed the dragonborn must choose. Unite all the holds and fight off the invaders inevitibly defeating their near godlike king in an epic battle!? or join the m'arrilians slowly rising through the ranks becoming more and more one of them as he aids in their quest to flood each hold?

 

Key features would include:

• The choice to side with Skyrim or become a M'arrilian
• Drastic changes to the landscape depending on the current situation of the war
• Epic boss battles with the M'arrilian Chieftans
• Massive sieges on the holds if you choose the M'arrilian side
• if choosing to fight for Skyrim the Dragonborn could create plans of attack (such as attacking the M'arrilian homeland or using an ancient spell to force their king out of their capital.
• underwater fighting
• able to learn mind control and powerful water based spells from the chieftans

 

Obviously this would be a massive mod. and sadly i know nothing of making mods but i can help by writing the story and side quests and such. (side note: once i have time to actually sit down and try making mods i hope to learn at least basic modding so i can try to help with that.)
