This mod was made especially to be used with

Alternative Leveling by Kerberus14 but it can be used just by itself.

This mod creates a more organic atmosphere for Skyrim. Let me explain;

"When you run in real life eventually you get tired, when you jump you get tired, when you crouch in a difficult position you get tired, not to mention walking while crouched, swimming is also tiring and you can drown if you can't swim any longer. Woodworking or crafting takes time, effort and thought, having all of that in mind I have tried to fit in 'real world mechanics' into Skyrim."

Jogging will drain stamina slowly.

Crouching will drain stamina slowly.

Walking while crouching will drain stamina moderately.

Jumping will drain some of your stamina.

Swimming will drain your stamina slowly.

Using an Alchemy Table or an Enchanting Table will drain your magicka slowly.

Using a Forge, workbench, sharpening wheel or tanning rack will drain your stamina slowly.

Cutting wood or mining will drain your stamina slowly.

When your stamina reaches 0 you will be stunned (unable to move, unable to fight) for a few seconds until you regenerate a bit of your stamina, now you may see this as an inconvenience in combat because this means certain death, and besides the inconvenience, this is what happens in real life as well if you are out of breath, probably even worse: you could faint, but how could our extremely buff character in Skyrim ever faint from lack of oxygen? *Chuckle*. If this happens while swimming you will drown (you have been warned), unless you are an argonian. If this happens while you're in a fight you will surely die.

I forgot to mention: and this is very important, once every 10 minutes of game-time with the time scale that I set it at(7), you will lose 1% of your stamina as a modifier, to recover 100% of the stamina lost, sleep 8 hours, to recover only a portion of it sleep less than 8 hours but you will never recover all of it if you don't sleep more than 8 or exactly 8.

What can you do in combat to save and manage your stamina? WALK or WALK BACKWARDS.

What can you do to avoid drowning? Make sure you swim with your stamina bar at full and be careful or you will drown and die.

Nice concept, but is it really necessary to make all three DLC's a requirement for something like this? I'm thinking specifically of Hearthfire, which to me is a waste of money. I didn't come to Skyrim to build a house and raise a family, after all. I came here to kill things. If I wanted to settle down, I'd have stayed in Anvil. You see, I was offered this great deal on a place in town: large basement, nice neighborhood with a short walk to work, but I turned it down. Just wasn't me, you know what I'm saying? :D

I'm sorry but I'm doing all 3 as requirement because I want to support Bethesda and the modding community as a whole. I believe there is a file on here or on the nexus that can allow you to remove file requirements, just search for it, otherwise, just buy Hearthfires or get it from a 'friend'.

Does this affect NPC's and followers? .. some environmental mods not factor in the advantages NPC's get when only the player suffers....

any chance this could get an separate add-on patch to tie the fatigue to Realistic Needs and Diseases fatigue.

IE: as fatigue from this builds up it adds some fatigue to RND which can only be relieved with sleep.

This is only available to those who haven't watched the video ^^.

No.. sorry, you can ask the mod author himself to do this, however I doubt any of those mod authors with tons of views and endorsements on their mods will reply to you because of how stingy and disgusted by you they are.. I know this because I asked most of them to help me on a total game overhaul 1 year ago, and they all read my PM and never replied back or replied that the mod is too big for them to handle 'by themselves'.

Used this for a few hours of gameplay and tbh the concept is good but it gets old very fast. Getting locked whenever my character's stamina reaches zero is very, very frustrating. Had to uninstall it because sometimes it's enfuriating watching a character getting hit and being locked out of the game.

Didn't know that. Gonna check it out. I liked the changes, at the very least. Although there is a very nasty bug I'm nearly sure is related to this mod. Sometimes stamina will randomly stop to regenerate, even if my character is well-rested and has tons of buffs that increase his stamina regen. The only way to fix it is save and reload that save.

I know about it, switch animations too quickly and it'll happen.

Need to review the code sooner as I've done with Alternative Leveling's, look at AL - Nova on the Nexus or here on loverslab, pretty sure I updated it.

I think you can simply disable that feature

To anyone thinking of using this mod - don't. Like LibertyPrime said above, there is a really, really nasty bug that will destroy your character's progression in the long-term.

The stamina debuff which requires you to sleep for 8 hours may not go away even after sleeping, and will stack to the next debuff. So, eventually, your character won't be able to sprint anywhere for more than half a second. Even if you try and remove the mod from your load order, your game will just get totally messed up (i.e. all scripts no longer working).

If the author could totally remove this buggy feature, the mod would be alright, as the other parts function nicely. It's such a shame that it was left like this.
