Skyrim Updates

Bethesda will make a update on skyrim  and im afraid it could damage it game.

 

Does anyone know if the updates could damage the game, and if it does, is possible to stop steam to update the game?

I don't see any information about a new update coming any where.

Because of the workshop on steam. Bethesda said they will update both game and creation kit.

That already happened like a month or so ago. It doesn't affect the game any. Your mods will be fine. Beth has no plans to introduce any game changing updates to Skyrim anymore.

A lot of people are worried that they'll update the game again to include some kind of DRM-like program or script that will prevent users from installing mods from anywhere other than the Steam workshop, which will basically force users to pay money to mod the game (and subsequently bring an end to Loverslab as we know it - there's no way in hell most of the mods hosted on this site would ever be allowed on the workshop).  There's nothing to confirm or support this yet, but in all honesty, it wouldn't come as a huge surprise at this point.
