ive tried getting help on the nexus forums but no one over there is even replying to my post.

ive been having some serious issues with racemenu, i have it up and running and i can see all the sliders but half of them dont work. like changing idles, breast, butt and the sliders for changing prportion on arms and legs. i can pretty much only load the body then change weight and how tall she is...

running: installed in this order, overwrote each time it asked.

xp32 extended - tried the normal version as well.

CBBE

ECE - tried both with and without, using for the better character presets.

racemenu 3.2

also, triend installing bodyslide 2 as well with no effect.

what am i doing wrong? been trying to get help on this for days and have gotten nowhere. xD

thanks in advance!

Well, first off, we have a tech support section for these kind of questions.

Secondly, RaceMenu and ECE don't work together, at least, not anymore. They conflict and will cause that exact issue (sliders not working and such). As for your install order, always install your skeleton last. This way you're guaranteed that nothing overwrites it. Has nothing to do with your issue, just a note is all.

But yeah, either use ECE or use RaceMenu. Not both. They are incompatible with each other. Depending on the one you use, XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended offers plugins for both of them. In the installer (when you install it via NMM or MO), it has the RaceMenu and ECE plugins for extra sliders.

For leg proportion sliders and similar stuff you need XPMS Extended and RaceMenuPluginXPMSE which is installed along with XPMSE skeleton. For poses you need to install mods for poses, and as far as i know you don't need to enable their esp-s for them to function with Race Menu.

Basically what SpyderArachnid said. :)

Well I know one thing you're doing wrong, and that's that you aren't using MO XD. Also I'd always install the skeleton 2nd last and race menu last!. Also make sure you use race compatibility and pre cache killer.

so i removed every mod and tried two install orders and none of the CBBE sliders were working.

this are the only mods i have active, is there anything im missing? it doesnt seem to matter what order i put these in, the NONE of the CBBE morph work at all.

PS: im sorry for not starting this in the tech area.

To the post above about racial compatibility!.

It won't really do much until he uses a custom race but it is always something good to have IMO and is a very small file!.

As for the sliders not working I'm almost positive you need XPMSE I'd test it out for you but I'm on my phone :/ sorry I can't be of more use to you!

Posting a load order would help. Cause if those are the only mods you have active, then you are missing required mods.

XP32 (the one I linked and you should be using) requires Realistic Ragdolls and Force. XP32 also comes with a RaceMenu plugin if you installed it properly via NMM/MO. It is what allows for those extra sliders in the first place. If you didn't install it, then you won't even have those sliders to begin with.

As well, you need SKSE to run HDT and RaceMenu. You also need FNIS to use the XP32 Skeleton.

If all you're using is HDT, XP32 Skeleton, CBBE, and RaceMenu, then you are missing a lot of other mods that are required for any of those to work.

Install XPMS Extended Skeleton version 2.51 and it's requirements, during installation when asked check the box with XPMSE2 RaceMenu Plugin (not the one for SOS). That plugin will enable leg length, proportion, and other sliders. That's really it.

@SpyderArachnid you are fast lol

trying to getting it working as such:

SKSE - installed directly to the game.

mods:

HTD

ragdolls

FNIS

XP32

CBBE

racemenu

this was my last install order.

the sliders appear to be working now, dont see anywhere on the CBBE page where it tells you that you have to load the body slide ap and load patch it to the game through that but after messing with the tool the most of the sliders in game appear to be working now.

only issue im running into now is the skeletons dont seem to be working, i can run around and such just fine but as soon as i draw my weapon my character model becomes static and just slides around everywhere. seem to be just running/walking wile weapon is out. tried uninstall/reinstall but no effect. also tried loading the xp32 last and that hasn't worked either.  xD

When you install XP32's Skeleton, you install it last as I mentioned above. Let it overwrite ANYTHING it asks to overwrite. Which should happen, cause it will overwrite the skeleton from Realistic Ragdolls and Force.

Then you have to actually run FNIS. Go into the tools folder in your data folder and there is a Generate FNIS for Users folder. Open that program, in the patches section, select the arm fix patch, and then click the big button. Let it run, when it says it is done, close it out. That should fix your animation problem.

This is why you need to RTFM. Save yourself a heap of trouble.
