Skyrim not loading 90% of ESPs

So I merged mods that ended up having around 16,000 records. Mostly Armor/Clothing mods but also including a mixture of mods like enhanced blood textures, sleeping mods, and sexlab mods. Now prior to this, I had done other merges already and had maybe around 300 mods if we are including all the ones I merged. Everything had worked up to this point, but then I did this merge and boom. For whatever reason Skyrim didnt seem to be loading any of my mods. I checked everything I could think of in the skyrimprefs, individual folders and all to make sure all was fine. It was! I kept restarting Skyrim and multiple things led me to believe this.

 

1. The game would load extremely quickly. (Shouldn't, since I have 450+ mods)

2. I have a Quick Start mod to skip the beginning scene, and everytime I start a new save I get the traditional bethesda screen and vanilla game start instead of just appearing at the end of the first dungeon.

3. I managed to load an old save and a number of things were missing, armor, eyes were black, my character had no hair, and items were missing from my inventory that were added from mods. (All my options were also missing in the showracemenu )

 

So yes multiple things were missing. The strangest thing though, when I managed to load my old save files it kept saying Immersive armors configuration finished or something along those lines. (cant verify now because that save file wont load anymore) And the MCM option was there whenever I hit esc, but when clicking on it, It was blank, no mcm menus in the list.

 

I know that I might have to re install, but I just wanted to see if anyone could offer some help before I resort to that. Reason being, I have a LOT of mods, and would prefer to not have to re install.

You have too many mods. And merging that many mods won't help either. The game can only handle so much, even with merges. And you went and merged scripted mods, which is a big no no. When merging, you avoid merging heavy script mods (like SexLab and such) otherwise it is going to cause numerous issues. When it comes to merging, stick to armor mods and weapon mods. Avoid most house mods and city stuff, cause it can break navmeshes. Avoid merging scripted mods, as it can break the scripts.

 

You gotta learn when to quit when it comes to downloading. Keep what is essential, and then a few pretty stuff. Don't over do it, like you already have.

i have no idea how many mods i really use, but there's no problem

 

 

 

 

 

alternate start have some scripts, that's why it no longer work

my racemenu.esp is a dslight esp renamed to racemenu.esp

some scripts need an esp called racemenu.esp, either you recompile them, either you give it to them (that work, so i left it like that, but i kept the other esp with scripts, too lazy to look for the scripts)

 

So, then could it have been combining mods that contained scripts?
