help a noob - how do i change clothes on follower

Use a console command or a follower overhaul mod like AFT or EFF.

Console Command "Openactorcontainer 1" on any npc to modify there inventory.

it's not working. how do i this for a folower?

 

also, i tried to summon one follower, by using "player.placeatme id" but then the other one that i just bruoght here goes awawy

Tell your follower that you would like to exchange equipment. Then give the armor/cloth to your follower.

Your follower will only put on the best equipment they have while they are following you.

 

Console command 'placeatme' instantiates a object/actor. It will not make anyone go away.
