More Nasty Critters and FNIS (atronach behavior missing?)

Recommended Posts

Fresh install, so no papyrus log. Doesn't matter any ways, as this isn't an ingame issue, rather a FNIS issue with MNC.

So I just installed MNC and ran FNIS (the v5.3 beta1), but when I run FNIS, I get this error:

ERROR(53): Could not find file 'C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\meshes\actors\atronachflame\behaviors\atronachflamebehavior.hkx'.

The last part is the problem. I checked MNC and it has a behavior file for the atronach, but that isn't the name for it. The one MNC uses is called:

FNIS_MNC_atronachflame_Behavior.hkx

So why is FNIS looking for "atronachflamebehavior.hkx" instead? Confusion setting in here. I don't have anything else that modifies the Flame Atronach, so not sure what else it is looking for. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Hi folks,

I just uploaded an update "FNIS 5.3 Fix1" which fixes this bug.

Unfortunately it came into my mind that I haven't tested the creatures stuff with 5.3. FNIS has an optimization that it doesn't generate new hkx files in case nothing of the input has changed. And since I didn't change anything ...

So I ask you for your support, and keep a close eye on what you see with respect to your critters. Thanks.  :)
