ahddubbuddah Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 ok, this is going to sound really odd, but is there anyway that someone could make a V.A.T.S. like system for skyrim? because that would be really cool to be able to pick what you want to do like you can in the FO3 and FONV. i think itd be fun to do that with like my bow and spells....though i know alot of people prefer melee weapons, i still thikn itd be cool and fun

thehurtbear Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 hmm .. no limb detection in skyrim so your essentially just selecting who to attack , theres a couple of mods out there right now that slow time REALLY slow while wearing the ring , and you can download killmove plus and look at the console command config to get it like vats ... it take a lot of time and effort to make vats i dont know if its even possible lol

(the killmove plus) As for the slow time, try slowing time within time. (Time Spell + Time Ring + Time Shout + time whatever, etc) It's actually really fun considering how easy you can pick pocket and steal shit in less than 2 seconds in the skyrim world (best used with movement speed mod, much easier with 85%)

I'm sure somehow there is a way to work VATS into Skyrim, but then you'd have to go into further modding in order to make... jeez, I don't even want to continue... The point is, I'm sure it's possible. Mostly anything like this is possible, whether there is a genius who could do it is a totally different story though.

The best mods right now similar to VATS is Advanced Kill Moves where you actually have more chance to slow down midfight and enjoy the combat. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=10291 I am still waiting for finisher moves for 1 hand + spell here. Use magic on 1 hand while doing slash or blunt on another would be really EPIC.

And are you aware of the VATS system? My bad for typing a bit mean but I just had to know.
Dritskit Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Killmove+ basically just unlocks locked killmoves, killmoves that were shipped with skyrim, but not used in the game. AKM... does the same, apparently, from what I can gather they both unlock killmoves that were locked, I think that AKM unlocks all the Killmoves, while KM+ only unlocks stable ones, but i'm not sure.

AKM is better than KM+ simply because it has more finisher, and you can use setting already in game to set your settings. AKM has a choice of having chance of performing finisher moves anytime (KM+) or only use slow motion to finish enemies and finisher moves on the last enemy. It really hard to explain, but just try it and see, basically in a big fight, you can see lots of slow motions, much more than AM+.
