So this happens to everybody or just me?

That whenever you load your game, either when you just opened skyrim or within in-game, there's like a 50% chance it will crash. And that, it doesn't matter if you have installed or removed mod recently, you can try to load the same save or saves, a number of times, and sometimes it will crash, sometimes it will load.

So, what's the variable here? Supposedly it should be trying to load the same stuff every time, so why it crashes sometimes? Maybe it depends on the available RAM at the moment or something? Because I know that skyrim crashes either when it tries to load something and that something is missing, or when it runs out of memory. I'm not hoping to get a definitive answer about this, I had a feeling this will be one of those inexplicable things about skyrim crashes, but hopefully I'm not alone on this particular issue, 'cause I've come to accept that no matter what you do, skyrim will crash, mods, or no mods (and it seems to be a known fact), but I've never read about these constant (and ironically not consistent) crashes on load attempts.

It happens everyone it just depends how many mods u got going in skyrim. Heres a few work arounds that work 100% time if ur skyrim is stable enough to even be loaded at all:

1)at main menu press the ² button to raise the console menu and type qasmoke, u will be instantly tele from main menu to a qasmoke area with a new temp char from there load save as norm.

2)choose new game and from there load saved game

Hope that helps and as always GL HF!!

Create an early save in an interior, ideally with your character alone. The exit from the first cave at Helgen is good, or the interior of Breeze Home. From now on, use that save to load your game, then load the save you actually want to play. That should load with much less of a chance of crashing, if the crashes are coming from too many scripts trying to fire at once.

Helped me out a bit, now its only maybe 5% of the time? and on certain auto saves it will always crash no matter what.

What I always do when I'm done playing for a while is save my game, then open the console and type "coc qasmoke" (no quotes) to go to the test cell. Then I save again. When I start back up, I load the qasmoke save, then load the previous save.
