How to change from dry skin to wet skin?

What are the various ways to change dry skin to wet looking skin in game? Is it possible to dynamically change textures? Has anyone gotten this to work?

 

I have experience with scripting and creation kit, before I dive into figuring this out, I was hoping someone could provide some insight.

 

My current solution is this:

 

1. Create a nude suit with a wet textureset applied.  The nude suit would be compatible with bodyslide.

2. Equip wet skin nude suit before any scene that requires wet skin.

 

Is there a better way to do this?

 

Example:

Actor.UseTextureSet(4) ;wet skin
Actor.UseTextureSet(3) ;dry skin
Actor.UseTextureSet(2) ;diseased skin
