FPS drop on FP view and close distance view

am having a very noticable FPS drop when i zoom on close to my character or during fps mode.

a new character or a character from an early save does not have this problem, so i can be sure it's not a problem with texture. problem with scripts perhaps?

i can only think of two mods that may have caused this, blush when aroused and deadly drain. only started using these two recently. anyone else having similar problems?

I have exactly the same problem - fps slows down to 15 as I zoom in on the character in third person view (and also at alchemy or enchanting stations). I am also using Deadly Drain, but not Blush. The problem goes away with "twf" - which would suggest textures? The character didn't have the problem in early saves, nor does an old late game character if loaded with the same mods.

I did find a strange work-around for third person view - type "sexchange" twice in console which resets the animation (and doesn't seem to alter skills). FPS goes back to 60 as before, even when zoomed in close. This fix lasts only until you go to first person view though.

I have same problem.I have MO and in 3profile all char got same problem. New character work perfect. I have deadly drain+blush on all.

Weird is if I start game on new profile no mods only LaL on female char if I switch to 3person I got less fps then in first person. Never notice this before. Only what change steam make same update on skyrim before I notice it.

twf or sexchange help for me too o.O

lucky racemenu had head morph export otherwise i'd just give up, ended up just making a new char instead.

interesting workaround with the console commands. i'll keep that in mind. although i'm still kinda skeptical about the problem being textures because i revert back to cbbe's default textures and the problem still persists. didn't change eye or hair though. am using eyes of beauty and kshairdo.

you mentioned resetting animation... skeleton? are you guys using HDT? and high heels?

I tryed reduce resolutin of texture too. It didnt help.

I have hight heel system on all profile. I am using HDT too but different. Damn my near vanila profile I deleted before becouse I will never play it again. Other 2 using gustom race. One is with Perma, second using skyre.

I am not sure if you can load it w/o correct mods. But lets test it. There is Succubus race http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/22903/?and Skyre I think its better on load then perma.

Oh and I made this save in qasmoke it should be better then normal place, but can put normal location if you want?

okay, now this is just weird. i didn't really think about it when i got the problem, but now i tried disabling EVERYTHING and cleaned up the save. still the problem persists, and upon loading up the save skyrim just tells me "this save file is corrupted" and boot me back to menu, i can still load the same save again though, and somehow skyrim didn't stop me on the second time.

then here's the catch, dispellallspells does nothing, so is cleaning save file and transforming into vampire lord and back, BUT! recycle actor and changing race fixes the problem. i suspect it might have something to do with skeleton data getting corrupted, but messing with body scale using racemenu didn't fix it either. tried looking at actor stat details and saw a fair bit of unknown with values in it, so corrupted player data might also contribute to this.

now im just confusing myself more and more

So, yeah. I have this exact same problem as well. All the symptoms are there. Very oddly, this creeps in over time on a new character, gets down to single digits, then I read the scroll at the time wound and the problem clears up again for a time, but again comes back. I use DD and blush, but the problem started well before I added either of those. But at least they didn't seem to make it worse. Leaving more nasty critters disabled seemed to make it take longer for the problem to appear, but eventually it started any way.

I also found the player.setrace and player.sexchange commands fix it until I go back to first person. And I tried the same disable everything, but that didn't change anything once the problem has started.

I use xpmse and racemenu, if that helps any.

I've also been looking more at things like jcontainers and storageutil, as those can both store data in a save, and since disabling mods doesn't make the problem go away it does seem to be something that's stored in the save game itself that causes this, rather than a script or whatever.

I will have the babies of any person that can figure out what causes this. I'm pretty much at my wits end.

Its kinda weird. Its must be updated mod and its causing problem. But even clean save w/o mods dont help its crazy. I tryed everythink and nothing help. I make new char but I am afrait its come back. And if its in jcon and storage you cant clear it I think.

I have xpmse too. Before I start my necromancer char I went from 2.14>2.50 and racemenu from ???>3.1. MNC on latest version too. And other mods. After I did it its start destroing even older save. Before no problem.

I dont have older skeleton file so cant test it. Becouse if I load game w/o skeleton its crash instantly if its trouble. But skeleton cant make fps drop or can?

Weird think is even papyrus log look fine. Only spam from MNC on load. But in topic I read its harmless.

We have many same mods in load order too. So its hard say with one.

I tried deleting the .skse part of the save, but the problem persisted. I think that nearly eliminates jcontainers as a possible source of the problem, since the .skse file is where jcontainers stores its data.

And whatever is applying the shader or overlay or whatever it is to my face also persisted. But then, doing a player.sexchange doesn't get rid of it anyway so that may not even be related. Just noticed that it shows up on all my characters that have this problem, but not on those that don't.

I didnt notice anything wrong with chin. I will check it detaily tomorrow.

If its not script or jcontait its realy weird... becouse its stay even after I load char on near vanila game and clear it with scipt cleaner I tryed even everything in advanced and nothink>.<

Maybe I have crazy idea. My sperg warrior dont had this bug and I dont using blush, slave tats etc.. no nioverride. All other have blush or apratos or I use slavetats for nail.

Maybe this char was extreme lucky or nioverrite can drop fps. But not sure if it even posible. But not much think left.

are you using any mods that adds lactation? sexlab couldn't distinguish between cum and lactation textures and it'll just apply it like cum texture. and when the lactation textures get place up the head it'll show up on the chin due to uv map size difference between body and head, i think.

Guys having the same problem .Also got Blush and DD and High heelHdt and became a vampire recently(maybe it's a race change problem?) in my load order so it's gotta be one of those. ALso noticed another weird thing when you draw your bow in 1st person FPS goes UP drammatically (even if you move with drawn bow (like from 30 to 60) Good thing i'm playing archer character but still i can't run around with my bow always drawn)

//// Can anyone else please test fps with the drawn bow. I think problem is related to mouse control(aiming), also have comparable fps boost when turning enb off in 1st person so maybe it can be fixed with some enbini tweaks?

So twf and changing race helps just one time UNTIL you go in 3 person and then in 1st person agian and then there is fps drop again. When you draw a bow in 1st person fps is constantly rises as well as when you sit on a chair/throne(in 1st person). So whatever it is that drops fps is doing its evil thing during the transition to 1st person or close up in 3d person and then sticks but it can not influence some animations/idles So does anyone has any idea what mod could do it?

The problem started for me before I installed blush or deadly drain.

And yes, my FPS goes back to normal with the bow drawn.

I don't know i've got a strange thing when i used Realvision enb(performance) when i turned it off this problem(fps drop in 1st person) dissapeared. However then i tried it with Seasons of Skyrim i've got quite opposite effect : with enb turned on fps drop in 1st person is not that significant(well fps is bad overall) but when i turn it off problem appears which wasn't the case with Realvision!

Also got an idea if i save my game with bow drawn and then save with bow not drawn(or sitting on a chair and then standing) Then is there a tool / util to quickly compare this two saves line by line so then we could figure out where exactly is a problem? (IF this has to do anything with save atall)

I just started noticing this problem in my own save and was surprised to find other people having the same such specific issue. I also use Deadly Drain and Blush, the latter of which I initially thought was the culprit but like others had no luck with disabling either of them. The fps drop only seems to occur for me with ENB enabled but no amount of editing the enb settings has had any effect and furthermore, the same character with the same appearance was just fine when I created her earlier today with the enb running. I haven't added any mods or changed any textures since then but if I had to guess it seems like something save-specific is eating up vram over time, though I can't figure out what would be removed by changing race, come back when switching views, and only shows up in a save after a few hours. It might be worth noting that like others here have mentioned this character is a vampire, though I don't currently have any non-vampire characters to test against. (I recently finished a re-installation of skyrim) It's weird that whatever it is can drop me from around 50 to about 19 fps just from zooming in.

Maybe it's one of the curses of being a vampire?) like weakness to fire weakness to sun and low fps in fp X) The odd thing is why fps rising when drawing a bow ? I mean i can understand why it's rising when you look up( cause there are less things to load i guess) but why when drawing a bow and you can even run around with it drawn with stable good fps. I had this even on non vampire char. I think its different problem. And only on female char. 30fps in fp and 10 in 3person. I like magic over bow so never tryed it. Cant test it I delete everythink before becouse I want try complete clear instal of MO and skyrim but didnt have time yet.

And enb I was playing w/o enb only enb boost.

it's probably a conflict, as usual

when i add audio overhaul, and check the esp, there was random conflicts with random mods

aos replace sword impact sound with a new one

but that's an edit of skyrim.esm, so mods that were editing that too, bye bye

and it can be a problem, if mod x replace a script, that need edits from mod x, that get overwrite by mod y

either the script crash and that thing no longer work in game, either you just ctd, either the script try again, and again, and again....

there's some npc that don't use bow when you fight them

when you switch to a bow it get rid of it? then the problem is with something only your char have

you should check those vampire mod some are talking about, or immersive first person view, or your buffs...

You are right that's not connected to enb . enb just eats your frames overall. Try looking down with enb OFF in first person you'll still have a problem with fps drop(( However looking down with a bow drawn still has good fps no matter enb on or off. All we have to figure out is what is it in drawing a bow that cancelles(immune to?) that fps drop in first person.
