urielmanx7 Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Quite a while ago I made a thread asking why such thing was never done; the reason I was given is that the vanilla resources are way too convoluted to mod, so it's so hard it's not worth the effort. But then a couple of days ago while I was digging on the nexus I found this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/667/? Which pretty much mods all crafting menus. Works fairly well, just a small bug with the cursor getting lost from the visible part of the list, but nothing game breaking...Except for that the enchanting apparently gets bugged, after you select the item, enchantment and gem you aren't given the option of actually enchant the item, so I had to uninstall it. Nevertheless, this came pretty damn close, I don't know why the development stop, but I think it's worth trying to finish it. Just throwing that out there.
volfin Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Yeah I suggested to the SkyUI team years ago that they expand to cover crafting, but of course the suggestion was ignored. There's no reason it can't be done, it just takes someone with the knowledge and patience to do it. The biggest hurdle is that the interface is made with Autodesk's Scaleform system which uses Flash files. So someone modding this would need a way to create their own flash files and know ActionScript.
Reenana Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 not only crafting but enchanting as well. idk if there's any mod that already cover enchanting to use skyUI's interface, but vanilla interface just.. idk doesnt do well for me. :C
