So, this is my first topic i've ever posted on loverslab (i might've posted in the wrong place, do correct me if i did)

I want to make a request for all you talented character generators in loverslab , would you mind making a character based on a real life person? Her name is Han Ga Eun.

If you're actually want to give it a shot yourself (it's fun!) , here're some tips for your preparation before sculpting away:

  1. Get a couple of reasonably good resolution image of the model with good definition of her frontal and profile shot, preferably in a neutral or close to neutral expression.
  2. If necessary, rotate the reference image(s) you got from step #1 in image manipulation software such as GIMP to align the face correctly (as in, both eyes aligned horizontally, or chin-nose in proper alignment also)
  3. Make your Skyrim into windowed mode or borderless windowed. You could use this handy mod for it.
  4. Download this program to help you put an overlay on your Skyrim ingame.
  5. Launch Skyrim, get into character making menu, load up the reference image in program of step #4, and-
  6. Start sculpting!

I have attempted to generate a character by myself and it did not turn out to be what i wanted, so i posted this topic so that people who are much better at this may be able to help me. However, i'll attempt it again with the steps you have mentioned, thanks for the help :D

Good luck!

Han Gaeun's a stunner, take your time to put more detailed work on capturing the form of her eyes and lips; IMO those two are her most striking facial features thus it's essential to get those two right.

You could probably get away with a different nose (or even give her a better nose job!),

but do try not to err on the form of her jawline and cheekbones by a large margin,

it's easy to see someone as a completely different person because he/she seems much thinner/chubby because of the change in jawlines/cheeks.

nb: Switch your character to a bald hair first before you do any serious facemaking. Hairstyles bring a hefty impact in character appearance and that means it could severely reduce your objectivity and accuracy assessment during sculpting.

So, i have attempted to make the character and i think i got really close but i think that her eyes are somewhat off, someone mind giving suggestions on any improvements?

Here, you could use this one I attached as the reference to fine tune the eye shape.

It is from the image of your original post, processed a bit in Photoshop to better show the outlines.

I see that you're using ECE right?

Choose the eye shape that is the most similar and play around with the slider until it's even closer to the reference,

then switch to vertex edit for maximum accuracy.

Choose to stop the animation while you're at it; and turn off the vertex overlay on the character skin when needed.

Zoom in (mouse scroll) on the unwrapped mesh display when you need to navigate from vertex to vertex and zoom out again.

Good luck, you're doing good.
