whenever i try to download NMM either via the program itself or via the nexus sites the download is very very slow. like 1 kb. via the site it says the download will be finished in an hour. but this is weird as all the other downloads on the nexus sites work properly and are very fast.

i got a new modem a couple of days ago. maybe that could be the cause but i have no idea.

Are you talking Nexus Mod Manager? Perhaps an update, since you mentioned downloading via itself? Maybe everyone is also getting the update at once then.

Nexus does also have paying premium members who don't have to wait in line.

Nexus has forums of their own where you might get better answers to your question, though I'm glad to try and help anyone and everyone equally, no matter that I'm banned from said site.

Could try Steam Workshop, too!

Highly doubt its the NMM.

Probably the modem, even if the NMM does have an update once in a while it shouldnt affect the download speed.

As for the waiting in line, dont think it works with NMM as well, pretty much only happens to the website everytime this "mmoxreview" releases his skyrim mod review video every week. Thought thats just my opinion.

Steamworkshop is a good idea too.

this slow download has been like this for a couple of days now and it still hasn't changed. i don't really like steam workshop. i prefer to use the nexus sites.

lkl is probably right. If your download speeds are good for everything else except for, well, what is it exactly you're having trouble with? If it's something specific to the Nexus, maybe there is a problem with your new router's settings and the protocols used by the NMM. Could even be your ISP's way of preventing certain kinds of downloads or just increased security. That would suck because then you'd need to get more detailed info from Nexus and then access your router to change it's settings, which usually isn't friendly to us network nubes with every router manufacturer using their own interface. Btw, I'm obviously no expert and am just thinking out loud here.
