Axios Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 First of all: there is no perversion in this one Having a conjurer character (also) I am merely requesting a way/place to store corpses of interesting (powerful, special, and for whatever reason) fallen enemies to be used with dead thrall and so on... As U may well know, after a few hours the game system "recycles" the cells and cleans up dead bodies and so on.... BUT there are exceptions... WARNING: Possible spoilers ahead Player's houses are an exception for every object and furniture, except of corpses.... but I have found a certain cave/dungeon with a strange room used by a necromancer and in which there are always three female corpses, used for experiments... even if U move or alter those corpses, when U return, U will always find them in exact position U found them the first tme, resetted and with starting clothes Is there a way to repeat and modify/improve this thing? Maybe to have a personal hideout just for conjurer's experiments??

Mine was just a simple curiosity, but since there are some powerful versions of the dead thrall spell, I thouhgt It could be useful to have such sort of "facility" (it is already preent in game, actually, as told in my spoiler... I did not create or thought of it first.. )

Leo Star Dragon 1 Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 Hello! If I have the names right, there's a mod called, "Corpses Stay Put", and perhaps another called, "Disable Corpse Reset", or something. I use one, that the designer intended as a means to keep track of where you've been, when you encounter a body that you killed. However, kills by NPCs also stay put. Ditto accidental deaths. I don't use them for their intended purposes though. The bodies I don't want, I cast "Polymorph Sheep" on. The ones I do want to keep, I don't. My point is, yes there are mods out there that let you keep the Dead for whatever means to an end you want.
wood93n Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Haven't heard of a mod that does this, but you could always could write down the RefID of the dead npc and call it back with the console. "prid RefID", and "moveto player". Might have to use enable. I know that when npcs die, they go to a special cell that's just kinda a dump of bodies. If you get the RefID of a dead person, then do "player.moveto xxxxxxxx", then you can get there. Maybe someone can just change this cell into a graveyard of sorts.

The mods you seek have named their RARS as: "AK_corpses_collector-30248", "Corpse_Grabber_v1-38683-1", and "Persistant_Corpses-19270". By the way, with "BoneGrind-2740", you can use it to grind "Skulls" and other assorted "Bones", just as long as you have a "Mortar & Pestle" in your Inventory. You just click on the bits of skeleton, once you have them, and then you get asked if you want to grind them into "Bonemeal" or not. Your skill in Alchemy determines if you can or not, as well as the quality, which you can tell by the price, how well you did. I hope that helps!
