bugged chastity belt

while doing the whoevers experiement, I did some of the captured dreams quests and asked for my restraints unlocked, the plug was removed but not the belt and now no matter what I do I can't get it removed, and I can't put the plug back in meaning its stuck on and the quest is glitched.

I have tried using a key,

paying the orc at captured dreams

paying a willing blacksmith

nothing has got it off

 I have had this happen a few times and a trick i learned that you can try is. Go to a storage item (chest, barrel, cabinet w/e) and try and store the item in there. it should pop back on you and then leave the container and use a key to remove it. if it goes into the container and stays and you then leave the container and are still wearing it go back into the container remove the item and equip it ,then try and remove it . hope it works for you.
