When people post big images in spoilers the image's left edge starts from the center of the screen and to see the hide button you have to scroll to the right. This is very annoying if you are going to open a lot of spoilers on a page. Can it be changed so the pic is left-adjusted?

It's also unnecessary to make a spoiler only for a little text and then another spoiler comes below that to show an image. Makes it hard to see what you have to close, lol. I don't expect everyone to change their way of posting because they read this but I think making less spoilers would make it easier for the viewer. Here is a good example of too many spoilers: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=4491&highlight=tera

Is it only me who get confused by this way of posting?

It is no big deal to reduce the size in the free gimp or photoshop, inasmuch as most image makers use these programs for image postprocessing. Though if there is a will to do that, well, that's quite a another cup of tea. The mine get posted in 700x528 as standard for example:

[spoiler= TES-III Morrowind (2005)]

Dark Ages

AD 2005

Yes, that size is enough but in many cases you link to an image that is uploaded by someone else.

For long enough I didn't give this any thought when posting pictures. From now on, I will resize pictures to a width of 900 pixels, that's the perfect size for this site. Only my comic pages will still be posted in their original size for maximum quality, to ensure the texts are readable.

Agreed nightwolf/Surenas. Even easier in the free software

xnview

Love xnview, too, for its tons of features. Dual monitor support for browsing imagines, awesome. Integration into Windows in pretty nice, too. And it has options for upscaling imagine quality just when viewing.

Yeah, I'm off the hook, cuz mine spiolers have been 1280x800 in that I just so happen to like whole even numbers at 1/4 # of pixels of me fullscreen goodness.

When I browse the tubes, I rarely have my browser at fullscreen, more like a strip down the middle, to keep from being blinded by huge white backgrounds and other annoyances on the nets. So I bets there are many of us who do prefer smaller pics.

It's not a huge deal, I guess, but more standards might be nice.

Maybe add ExtremeTracking so we can all see visitor monitor resolutions!?!?! Then hack each other?

Please don't. That would be the first step to make LL the new Nexus :s. Though I have no problems with scrolling the page to the side or hitting ctrl - to zoom out, I can understand some people might be annoyed by pictures too large for the screen. Resizing is all right, no big deal.

Too soon? Was it too soon for any Nexus ExtremeTracking jokes? I'll wait a couple of weeks before attempting another.
