m3dicat3d Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 I'm a huge fan of women who get very wet in RL and so I played around in GIMP this morning and added some of the sperm replacer textures to my favorite body texture to mimic this. My question is this. Is it possible to somehow animate the drips going down the thighs similar to how the sperm textures do a slow motion drip after the cum textures are applied in SexLab (or like they do from the different blood texture mods)? And if so, could it be a permanent effect, or would it have to be on a timer like casting a spell for it to take effect, that kind of thing? I wouldn't know how to do this myself, but before I could really consider a request, I thought it would be good to know if it could be done at all first. Thanks!
Guest Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Yes, it is possible if you use for the sperm an effect shader. You have the Texture animation speed for the horizontal and the vertical movement. Just put a small value here and the texture will shift a little until the shader is applied. Here an example from one my mods:
m3dicat3d Posted February 21, 2015 Author Posted February 21, 2015 That's good to know. Now for an utterly dumb question. I am assuming that is a screenshot of the skyrim creation kit? Since I have zero experience modding, I wouldn't know, but I am also willing to try and learn it. If that is the case, would you or anyone else know of a good tutorial to get dummies like me started, something of the quality that Enskyment or Blabba have done for HDT and BS/Outfit studio? Going to do some searching, but thought I'd ask ahead of time in case there was one or two tutorials that stood out as quality learning examples. Thanks!
Guest Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Internet is full of tutorials for the creation kit. I did not find one to create a "cum shot", but maybe I did not search enough... (for sure you will not find it on Youtube...) I can do a 10 lines tutorial here. Of course you need a basic knowledge of the Creation Kit. Open your mod in the CK (or create one) Create an Effect Shader: SpecialEffect->EffectShader Be sure "membrane shader" is selected and "Particle Shader" is NOT selected In "Fill Texture" browse the texture you wish to use. Keep every value as is except the Texture Animation V (the second box) to some small negative number (to move down), like -0.002 Save it Create a Magic Effect: Magic->Magic Effect Define the "Casting Type" and the "Delivery" as your preference. Then click on "Hit Shader" and pick the Effect Shader you just created Save it That is enough to apply the effect. If you wish your life more easy create also a spell with the same "Casting Type" and "Delivery", and then attach your magic effect to it. If you have further questions I will be happy to help.
bahow Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 But sadly, shader effects are applied to all body parts. Body, head, hands and feet I mean. So you can see unwanted textures on some parts. Is there a way to target specific body parts?
Guest Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Not one I am ware of. You can use a trick: do different effects for the different body parts and then apply them as you wish. Can they be layered? No.
m3dicat3d Posted February 21, 2015 Author Posted February 21, 2015 Thank you CPU, I will give that a go. About the specificity of body location application of the shaders, and forgive me as I really know next to nothing about making modifications, but how does SexLab achieve this? it seems that Sexlab does apply the shader specifically to one location on the body (when I looked at the texture files when I goofed around this morning there were various locations) and when the vaginal cum effect is applied for example, it only shows for that area of the body. I understand there is a ton I don't know, but it would seem that there is a way to apply the effects to a localized area. If that is true, I still wouldn't know how to accomplish this though.
Guest Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Ok, here another 5 lines tutorial (I use GIMP to manipulate textures, if you use Photoshop you have to find the correct way your own.) Get your texture and open it with GIMP (be sure it is only one layer) Uncompress the malebody_1.dds or femalebody_1.dds from the Skyrim Texture bsa and open it with GIMP (keep only the first layer) Arrange the two images in a single one. Put your texture on the top of the body texture Draw only on your layer. Do not touch the body layer (in this example I draw something on the lower legs and the feet.) When finished just discard the body layer and export your texture as DDS (use the options: BC3/DTX5 and generate mipmaps) And you will be able to draw your textures that will match a body part.
m3dicat3d Posted February 22, 2015 Author Posted February 22, 2015 Well I made a set of "test" textures using GIMP like you described, but my problem is now that I am completely clueless as to how to open it in the CK and actually do something with it. Basically, I seem to be unable to get past step 1 (open your mod in CK) embarrassingly enough. I haven't been able to find any tutorials to even get me this far (yet, though I am still searching) but given that you gave so freely of your time to help me out, I didn't want to just abandon making the effort myself, and thought I would reply with this "update."
Guest Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Hello! Another 9 steps tutorial... From your screenshot, looks like that you started CK but you did not open anything. Start CK Click on Open button (top left button, looks like a yellow folder) Select ONLY Skyrim the first time with a single left click. Wait for the opening and say always "Yes to all" to the warnings As soon as the loading is completed save immediately and provide a name for your mod. (Let's say you call it "medicate.esp") Click on the open button of CK again double right click on your mod now. Wait for the opening and say always "Yes to all" to the warnings Now go to the effect shaders, do a right click on the list and start the fun
