Tossie Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 After I started watching Mouretsu Pirates, I got the sudden desire to play as a pirate, but to my dismay Nexus doesn't appear to have any decent pirate mods. Was wondering if anyone knew of any that are not on the Nexus or if someone would be willing to make one. Someone really needs to remake this mod for Skyrim. It was so badass! [/quote'] That set (at least I'm assuming we're thinking of the same set)looks perfect for my Shiki character.

I actually thought it was weird that Bethesda made such a loooooong shoreline going all the way from Solitude to Winterhold and almost nothing interesting! It's literally BEGGING for some sea adventure! (Other than a certain Dark Brotherhood mission that involved boarding a sailing ship which was pretty cool but I'm greedy and want moooore!) But but but... ~~Leeches stops daydreaming~~ unless you're terribly concerned about lorefriendliness (but not really: Redguards are going to figure out how to use gunpowder at some point) I think the flintlock mod makes a really amazing accessory for a pirate character! I actually started playing again because of it yesterday. Put one of Jaysus' sabres in one hand and a pistol in the other and fight like real pirate! ^^ It's pretty slow and inaccurate (I'm practising shooting at knees and its hard) and needs high Archery before it starts being really effective but the animations (the same as staves) look surprisingly natural and it even manages to be relatively bugfree! Now I just need a ship and a HAT or something!
