vaporak Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Hey all, I dl'd a follower mod GomaPeroFollower (here: http://gomaperopero.tumblr.com/post/110079862020/mod-gomaperofollower-v1-1-update) and was wiered out when the NPC used an orc voice figured I could change it with the Creation Kit. It's my first time using it and it seems it's more complicated than google let on. What I tried was opening up the Creation kit, go to file-> data and select the plugin and set it as active and load it. Then go to the Actor section, (after saying yes to some warnings that come up :/), and in the object windows double click on the NPC. Then under the traits tab there is a section for voice type. I change that to another one and click okay. Then File -> save, and then exit the creation kit. Can anyone give me some pointers on what I'm missing, as a quick google search isn't bringing up anything.
beeknee Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 The sequence you used to change the voice type should have worked. I just installed the mod and changed the voice type to female young eager and had no problem. Did you open the archive and change the esp to the english one then delete the other esp? You need the mesh and texture folders and the esp in the data folder, then re-archive the mod and install. How did you install the mod? I don't use NMM so I can't help there, but it's a simple archive and any installer should not have a problem with it. If all else fails, I would reinstall the ck. Good luck!

I think it has something to do with me having Requiem installed. It's a mod with a skyproc patcher you're supposed to run after installing any other new mods, and I was able to get the voices to change in game if I ran the patch after doing the edit in the CK. I assume there was some conflict between the edits requiem was doing to the characters and what they were showing up as in the CK, and since the requiem patch loads later it was overwritting the changes I was making.
