We1rd Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 I installed requiem but it didn't work. I unistalled it but game still think requiem is master, so I reinstalled game. It still think requiem is master. please help.
WraithSlayer Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 If you've gone as far as reinstalling the game, what makes you think Requiem is still there? Also, you really should start using a mod manager to handle mod installs/uninstalls for you. Nexus Mod Manager is very simple to use and will save you a lot of headaches, whereas Mod Organizer is a bit more complex but comes with more advanced features.
We1rd Posted February 6, 2015 Author Posted February 6, 2015 I do use NMM. And requiem is still there.
DurtyNelly Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 What is giving you the indication that Requiem is still there after a complete Skyrim reinstall? The font? The slow down mechanics? Prices? Are NPCs still un-leveled? We need more information, please. Also, when you reinstalled and started fresh, did you start a new game? Requiem can not be taken out. An uninstall means a new game, period.
We1rd Posted February 7, 2015 Author Posted February 7, 2015 I don't mind starting new game. But game crashes before main menu is even loaded beacuse apparently skyrim still thinks requiem is a master and since it's missing game doesn't start. I went through all mods and non have requiem as master.
DurtyNelly Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 CTD on startup usually means a missing master, yes, but it doesn't make sense that if you completely reinstalled Skyrim, do not have Requiem now or any mods that require Requiem as a master, and started a new game, that it would be looking for Requiem in any way. Can we get your LOOT load order, please? If all traces of Requiem have been removed, something else is causing it.
