Mewwt Posted January 26, 2015 Posted January 26, 2015 So, I just started using mod organizer, and installed a few mods (not many, the essential to check everything is fine). Now I can't even load a save (crashes as soon as I hit enter to load it) and can't start a new game (gets stuck in the skyrim logo). I tried deactivating a few mods like perma, or running TESVEdit, but everything is better than ever (in fact, I never saw it as clean as it is right now). Any help?
Mewwt Posted January 26, 2015 Author Posted January 26, 2015 It doesn't crash. I waited for a few minutes and it just stays there. I can move the mouse around, but that's it. I have to alt+tab and close manually. I tried deleting the .ini files and verifying the game's cache. And yes, I'm starting via SKSE. I gave the skse_loade.exe admin rights and followed the instructions in the STEP guide.

Mewwt Posted January 26, 2015 Author Posted January 26, 2015 Bumping with solution: Make sure to put skse to start in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim" (in the modify executables menu). I was going crazy.
