Ashkandii Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 so im using Razer (krakens to be precise) headphones but this isent first time i get mad pains when wearing headphones in this specific side of my ear, the middle part of my ear, the most boniest part hurts sooooo freaking much when wearing headphones, i switch them around and still the same pain, i try putting as much weight on the left ear still hurts, why is this? my left ear is normal and fine but right one is hurting like its being squished to death. any explanation why?
fizzybutt Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 I use to get that pain all the time. Though it was the left cuff rather than the right. The cartilage can be a sensitive thing when it gets bruised. I found it was worse using the ones that sit on top of your head and got some serious relief when wearing one that didn't hug tightly and rested on the back of my neck. I had one very, very similar to this one for many years. Wore it out last year and couldn't find a quick replacement. That was the most comfortable headset I ever owned.
zxcvb999 Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 you sure you dont have any inflammatory issues?
Ashkandii Posted January 21, 2015 Author Posted January 21, 2015 you sure you dont have any inflammatory issues? not that i know off, it just feels bruised everytime, i use to lay down with them on and i was always on my right side so i probably did something to them.
fizzybutt Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Probably just pinched the cuff of your ear. I did it all the time when I fell asleep with the over the head ones. Would hurt like a bitch for days. Those ones that go over the head are hard on some people. You could try and get relief with a cheap behind the head one like $15-20 for one of those cheap (but strangly decent ones) from logitech. They don't squeeze the ear. Alternate between the gaming set and an over the ear one to keep from causing you pain.
Ashkandii Posted January 21, 2015 Author Posted January 21, 2015 i just wear half of the right headphone off so the cushion part is up against where it hurts so it feels alright now. must of damaged it by leaning against it all the time.
