Nasseliten Posted January 19, 2015 Posted January 19, 2015 I recently reinstalled skyrim and installed my usual body mod unpbo with xpms skeleton extended using alt navetsea seamless textures. There is no color mismatch but im getting a slight neck gap. It's hardly noticable but sometimes I can see some small black artifacts where the neck seam should be. This is very strange because I didn't have this problem before and I'm pretty sure I installed everything the way I did before but I must have messed up somewhere. So I'm wondering where to start, could it be normal maps? Skeleton? meshes/textures? It's like the neck area is slightly to thin compared to body at the "neckseam area" Usually installing alt navetsea unp seamless and everything is golden and I didn't need to do anything else. Any suggestions guys? Example pic: As you can see the gap is slight and you can see two small black artifacts on the right side of the neck Edit: Looking at the pic from my laptop I can barely see anything, but I am playing on my tv 48" and it's abit more visible. Maybe that is part of the problem I dunno....
Ky Kiske Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Sometimes that can be fixed pretty easily if you have your character saved on an ECE or Racemenu profile, just set your body weight to 0 load your character profile and set the weight again.
Nasseliten Posted April 12, 2015 Author Posted April 12, 2015 I found out my issue and it might be interesting for other people who have problem with slight neck gaps. It was not mod related. The neck seam/gap was caused by having antistropic filtering set to 0. Setting it to 8 removes it completely. Yeah my computer is ancient so most people will never have this problem. 0 seam with no enb:
