Random CTDs WITH EnBoost and .ini tweaks

 Hello All. 
 
So I have had some minor issues with Skyrim with some hang/freezing in the beginning.  
I then after days of research applied the .ini tweak below. 
 
Seemed to have a positive effect. 
 
I then added more mods and began to have more CTDs.  
 
I then after a hours of research and trouble shooting got ENBoost to work 
 
CTDs actually INCREASED.   I am confident I had the appropriate settings in the Memory section but perhaps there were others that I missed
 
I use Mod Organizer and am quite pleased with the program.  It however has been "crashing" 
 
So now I am perplexed.  I leave a MO log file here

Although I don't THINK it's MO causing the issues (was perfectly fine previously) I was unsure if it was tweak settings that I was or was not applying that may be causing it.  
 
I have since deleted the ENBoost files.

Have you used LOOT for your load order? (Load Order Optimization Tool) I know many of those mods conflict with each other on smaller levels but that can build up.

 

and when do you CTD? main menu or after loading a save?

Yes indeed. 

 

I have been using LOOT.  Run it every time I install a Mod and every other gameplay otherwise. 

 

Most of the CTDs were occuring 10-15 mins during gameplay at various places.  Not necessarily repeatable (e.g. like coming out of Inns/Dungeons/Caves or performing a certain action)

 

Although the Load order may not be perfect it was didn't cause Headaches prior to ENBoost.  

I was hoping it was a setting or tweak that I may have entered incorrectly or perhaps one I didn't add or set. 

 

again any suggestions welcome.

Try restoring the default enblocal well remove the tweaks you made and see if it ctds then, if it does not ctd then you have your answer. also you may try checking the papyrus log for further details.

So after a couple three plays 

 

I DO have 3-4 Home Mods. I decided to uncheck those .esps and see and behold I didn't get any crashes 

 

I then tried to select 2 of 4 (Dev Aveza and BYOH) and wound up getting ONE CTD then none thereafter

 

So I am leaning towards blaming the Home mods?  Could it be a order issue?

 

I still have not re-installed ENBoost yet FYI

So I have been play testing/playing for a bit now.  

 

I unchecked all the home mods then added them one by one.  It seems that FOR ME and my system ENBoost is just more buggy with  than w/o.  I am going to attempt to use the Injector version and see if that changes the CTDs count.  With the Wrapper ENBoost I had CTDs almost q 15 mins which just made it almost unplayable

 

I still had CTDs mind you but there were MUCH MUCH less frequent.  So I took ENBoost out for several days and was able to go some 2-3 Hrs before a random CTD.  

 

I cleaned all the mods I could with TES5Edit.  I have removed some of the possible culprits through information from other forums 

 

  -SkyTest realistic Animals & Predators -tried it and it seemed that it may have been conflicting with some or other mods too many CTDs

  -Sands of Time -didn't even activate the mod through MCM but less CTDs w/o it (although there is a newer version now)

  -Diversified Dragons -the latest in mods trimming that I've done will have to see if this helps

  -WIC Cloaks.  Only supposed to enable one of the .esps.  I had all 3 enabled but still got a good amount of time playing.  

 

I have the SKSE ini tweaks as above but apparently it needs to be in the Skyrim Data folder?  That is now there

 

I have had the Sheson rec and there is a VERY GOOD explanation by the prolly well known Gopher on YouTube about the memory patch. 

But I do wonder if there is anyting else that you all have used that has helped or perhaps have tested.
