ASX mod sound corruption and Estrus settings help

As the title states, whenever the player is a 'participant', whenever my character shouts, it becomes corrupted, unable to fully hear the words pronounced when shouting. However, when the spell is cast on others, it works perfectly fine.

 

Also, because the creator of the Estrus mod cant speak English, I do not quite understand the settings options in the mod configuration panel, thanks.
