Armor Conversion and possible functionatlity merging

Recently I installed the Scarlet Dawn Armor but I would like it in other colors, mainly, but not strictly, because it looks weird you wear the exact same clothes (because it looks more like a clothe) of your follower. We're not cheerleader to use a uniform...
 
And nowadays, an HDT version of is a must, so having Bodyslide 2 customization support would be great.
 
Searching on Nexus I've foundthis mod that claims to add coloured variations of the Scarlet Armor, but something might be wrong with it because only the shawl is being colored. Another user reported the issue and the possible solution provided didn't make sense to me. If everything is properly loaded, reinstall would not solve.
 
Anyway... Even so I tried and didn't work. Because I'm using ModOrganizer I first thought that something was not being properly overwritten but the textures files have different names. Of course, I may be wrong here too.
 
I was able to make these textures work by duplicating the meshes folder of original armor in the variant mod directory and then disabling the original one. However, the new coloured versions became too... "shiny", much different than the pictures in Nexus.
 
Initially I thought this could be an ENB issue but I couldn't prove because I can't disable it while in game (the SHIFT+F12 hotkey is taking a screenshot).
 
Also in Nexus I've found  this HDT conversion which worked very well, although it has some extra sliders that are not necessary or at least don't do much face all the others available with Bodyslide.
 
So, in short, can anyone merge the functionality of all of the three components? I mean, a craftable multi-coloured for CBBE with HDT support?

I forgot to mention that with this coloured mod active the straps of the armor ("gauntlets") become invisible and thus the lower half of my arms and my hands disappear.
