Papermix Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 I've pinpointed the issue, I just have no clue how to fix it. Basically the defaultmale and defaultfemale from FNIS meshes are overriding the ones from Dance Synchronizator. To get dance to work, I have to hide these files in MO. That gets it to work, but makes Sexlab not work. If I unhide them, then sexlab works, but Dance will not work. Really stuck here. Worked flawlessly in NMM, which was supposed to be worse than MO. How to I get these to co-exist?
Alpia Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 Well since nobody posted something here I try my luck, but I don't use MO so : / if you say it worked fine with NMM what was the diffrence when you still used NMM since the only diffrence between NMM and MO in this case is that NMM overwrites files on the harddrive perma and MO only decides virtually what file is used and leaving therefore both files still on your harddrive but only loading the one that you choose. So you say one is overwriting the other this also had to be the case with NMM what did you back there? If you know this you should be able to choose in MO the same stuff as with NMM
Papermix Posted January 5, 2015 Author Posted January 5, 2015 Well since nobody posted something here I try my luck, but I don't use MO so : / if you say it worked fine with NMM what was the diffrence when you still used NMM since the only diffrence between NMM and MO in this case is that NMM overwrites files on the harddrive perma and MO only decides virtually what file is used and leaving therefore both files still on your harddrive but only loading the one that you choose. So you say one is overwriting the other this also had to be the case with NMM what did you back there? If you know this you should be able to choose in MO the same stuff as with NMM Not that simple, unfortunately. MO uses a virtual Data folder, and so does FNIS when you run it through MO. Dance Synchro uses the vanilla files and cannot be run through MO. In a NMM installation, FNIS places defaultmale.hkx and defaultfemale.hkx files into your vanilla Data meshes. Dance Synchro reads these files (I believe) and creates it's own version of the files based on what it read about how FNIS handles stuff. Because Sexlab relies on the FNIS animation data which is located in the virtual Data, and DS cannot locate any of these files (Vanilla is untouched) we have a problem. This creates hkx files in BOTH the virtual data folder (from FNIS) and in the Vanilla game folder (from Dance Synchro). Hence, a conflict. NMM does not create this issue, so it was never the case with NMM, and that's why I'm out of ideas. Holy shit I figured it out myself just by writing this reply to you. Hurray for logical reasoning and the power of deduction. For anyone in the future who has this issue this is what you do: [bACKUP YOUR FILES IN CASE SOMETHING GOES WRONG] 1) Run FNIS through MO like you normally would. 2) Create the Mod out of the FNIS files generated in your Overwrite folder. 3) Copy all of the files in the new FNIS mod you created. 4) Paste these files in your VANILLA Data directory. Overwrite everything. 5) Next you can run DS Installer. 6) Delete the FNIS mod you created in MO. (You don't need it anymore) 7) Done. Enjoy your pr0n, and J&K-pop dancing. Because DS can now read the path for these hkx files, it will detect the exising FNIS files that have the MO mod plugin animation information that you created using the virtual data folder of MO and adjust to them accordingly, instead of creating it's own. (When that happens, MO will assign priority to your FNIS mod from MO and create a conflict with the DS files in your Vanilla game.) Normally, in NMM this would not be an issue because both FNIS and DS live in the same room, and have no problem interacting with each other. Cut out the communication, and someone is kicked out of the house. *That said. It's important to note that you are now using the Vanilla game exclusively for depositing your FNIS files instead of creating a custom Animation mod using the overwrite folder in MO. Do not forget to clean your save game before this, and make a clean installation of DS. And backup your shit. Basically, every time you want to add new animations or need to run FNIS, you will have to do it this way instead of the normal way. (Only if you want sexlab to be friends with DS(and it should)) Tested and working. After dancing the Elektrika, my character had no problems pulling out a big rubber dildo. Joy.
Socsen321 Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 Hello...sr for my bad English but I have the same problem...I'm using NMM to install FNIS...and when I install DS, the animation DS is fine but sexlab not working. So can you show me how to fix that through NMM. thks
