Help! My follower is doing Black Face and its Offensive

Im making a follower by following this tutorial http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/1019769-how-to-create-your-own-custom-race-followers-tutorial-based-on-the/ but im stuck at the last step before 3, which is export facegen data. 

 

But since ck is such a bitch, it wont export from the actors\actor column of the object window.  it needs to be in actors\actor\actor.

how do i get ohmes raht race to show up in the actors\actor\actor column?

 

im at my wits end.

 

other info:  ive loaded up all required mods as esm.

                  tried exporting from actors\actor\preset, it dont export from there either.

yes i know, that is where i m having the problem.  thanks for trying to help but u must not have read.  The problem is its because im not making a follower from default race.

Ok apparently this is a bug with ck and i figured out how to avoid it.  when u first make the npc dont change the race, click ok, THEN change the race, then save and reload.  then the race will appear under actors\actor\actor.  Christ, being a noob and not knowing ck's bugs makes for a steep learning curve.
