Follower eye weirdness

Hey,

 

I recently downloaded the Hanna follower from Tesgeneral. She seems like a well crafted an interesting follower. However, there seems to be a slight technical problem. The character's eyes reflect light like they were globes. Which makes me think they're missing normal maps.

 

Changing the normal, shine and environmental maps inside the character's texture folder seems to do nothing. I've already checked with the CK that the texture paths in the headpart for the eyes point to that location. Same with the textureset used by the headpart. I even changed the paths to point there in the NIF for the eyes, to be 100% sure, even though that probably gets overridden.

 

Am I missing something obvious? In fact it looks like the eyes aren't getting multiple textures applied, since when you look at them from a certain angle, one looks much lighter than the other.

Anyone have any idea what's going on? I'd appreciate the help, since I wouldn't want to ditch a perfectly good follower just because their eyes look creepy.

 

EDIT:

 

Interestingly, the normal map renders just fine in the Creation Kit. Extremely weird.

Right, I sorted out the problem. Here's how, in case someone runs into the same problem:

 

Looks like there was possibly something weird going on with the FaceGen data. I replaced the eyesfemale.tri that came with the mod with the default one, and updated the character's FaceGen data with the CK. The eyes seem to get rendered properly now.
