killer90503 Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 i have slavetats and all of its requirements it shows up in game mcm when I go to apply the tattoos none of the tattoo packs show up like I don't have any installed even when I do
Alpia Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 How should we help you there? If you have all requirements and it shows up in mcm and the tattoo packs don't show up you obviously have something not installed correctly what else should someone say? If you use whatever mod installer make sure the packs are installed in the correct folders
killer90503 Posted December 30, 2014 Author Posted December 30, 2014 I have uninstalled and reinstalled everything for slavetats including the mod itself and the tattoo packs still wont show up is there a way for me to put the tattoo packs into the slavetats mod itself if so how would I do that ? I use mod organizer for all my mods
Sorinade Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 With MO, did you install the slavetats main file first, activate it (tick). Then install the packs? The base has no tattoos I believe, only the packs. After I installed the main, I then installed about 9 of the packs selecting the merge option in MO each time. Thus ending up with one.
killer90503 Posted December 30, 2014 Author Posted December 30, 2014 yes I installed the slavetats main file first then the packs but I did not merge them I will go try that
killer90503 Posted December 30, 2014 Author Posted December 30, 2014 okay I know how to merge mods downloaded from nexus but how would I merge mods added to the mod organizer ?

Sorinade Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 To get the option to merge when installing mods from your hard drive, the files need to share the same name to prompt the merge option. So I installed "slavetats", then installed pack X and renamed it (in MO, not the actual file) to match the already installed one - thus it gave me the merge option. After I installed all the ones I wanted, I renamed the original to include the version info. I've stopped direct installing from NMM after they banned a user and removed their files which I used, now I download then install. I hope it works this way for you, worth a try. I did it this way mostly to reduce the mod count as I'm near the limit (250 odd).
killer90503 Posted December 30, 2014 Author Posted December 30, 2014 well I remembered when I add the mods it pops up the same window when mods are downloaded from nexus andi was able to merge them now im going to see if it works

Sorinade Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Sorry, not looked into manually merging mods myself. You've installed the main file and packs. The MCM menu shows up. You've selected a body area (like body tattoos), and clicked on section 1 where it says "no tattoo" and the menu that pops up says "no tattoos". Very odd. You've definately clicked the first "no tattoo" button, the one level with section 1 - not the one below level with pattern 1? As section is the category, pattern is the tattoo itself and is blank until a category is chosen. Then I have no idea, definately repost your query in the "Slavetats support thread" itself.
killer90503 Posted December 30, 2014 Author Posted December 30, 2014 okay well I got it working by some un known stroke of luck thank you for the help I merged the packs into the slave tats mod put it into a new folder and put it into a rar format folder and added it to mod organizer again and now it works lets hope it stays this way
