New Data Folder?

ok so skyrim has been bugging out on me causing me to CTD when i load up a save, after looking around the lab i found out that most likely a mod is messing up my files and that causes my CTD. Thing is i have installed a bunch of mods and i have no idea which one is the messed up one, so i was thinking is it possible to back up my old data folder and create a new one (just install all the old key mods), and in essence start fresh?

Here is a link with a post that has all needed/essential files for your data folder. so put these in a new one, back that up and u can delete your old data folder, did that yesterday had to clean up some mods that i didnt install with nmm, and remove a glitchy one. http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/615805-/61992850
