Koko.Hekmatyar Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 So far I have been unable to get the daggers to go onto my back I have xp32s skeleton set for back hip daggers and my better wearing position is also set for it. Honestly I didn't think taking so long off skyrim would make me this rusty considering I had this working correctly in the past Below is my current load order pre BOSS/LOOT run I plan to do that and see after I hit post. fizzybutt Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 I don't see the new xpmse racemenu plugins. Are you using Groovtama's updated and corrected version of xp32's skeleton? And if so: Which version of racemenu and xpmse are you using? Racemenu now handles weapon placements in at least 2.9.6 Official release (v3 betas are found on this forum) with 2.20+(I think) xpmse skeleton. Beta updates are going fast and furious in the wake of Racemenu v3 about to release and all the things going on inside it new options, menus, the mesh sculpt window, poser menus... list goes on lol.

fizzybutt Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 It certainly does work with the new xpmse. I'm using it just because the newest xpmse put axes on the back. Now I've got my dual axes. There's settings for left and right weapons in racemenu now. Update/install and check out the weapons sliders in racemenu. You'll find what you're missing. racemenu v3b15(not newest, been lazy on the updates, think it's at v3b18or so now), matching xpmse skeleton and DSR

But then again, that was before the newest version of XPMSE had the sliders for weapon placement in RaceMenu. Now it has sliders for weapon placement in RaceMenu, so you can pick and choose exactly where you want your weapons at, while using Dual Sheath Redux. Only downside, NPCs will not use the weapon placements. Thus why I said it doesn't work with Dual Sheath Redux, cause only the player uses the weapon placement now. NPCs won't. They use the default weapon placements.

It will work with the vanilla races but not the custom ones. Side note I hope they put the weapon placement and scale options in their own tab eventually.
fizzybutt Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Yeah the npc's are a bit tougher. I think he's got a work around for the skeletons that requires a bit of work in nifskope. I hadn't really checked to be honest. I think if you set it in the fomod while installing doesn't it do something? I'll have to look. sadly the ningheim race seems to be incompatible. It will work with the vanilla races but not the custom ones. Did you make sure to manually replace the skeleton in the ningheim/custom race files? I haven't done anything to my ningheim in a while but you do have to replace the skeleton with the xpmse. And with the betas, weapon placement and scale is in a separate tab. It's a little more to get use to because its all spelled out rather than icons and you've got to slide the tabs (on click they do this) but it's not that big a deal. It's just harder to get to the overlays tab since they're in the middle now.

I forgot to replace the skeleton in the ningheim folders lets just pray I haven't forgotten how to do that. Edit: and I remembered how to do it.
