Moonchopper Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 After screwing around with the creation kit for awhile I was wondering how to make a companion with custom hair, a custom race, ect. I'm stuck on how to get a custom race into the creation kit. (Oriental) And when I'm picking a custom hair (apachi's) the preview screen shows the npc without the hair, just bald. So I was wondering howto- get a custom race into the creation kit and why the hair doesn't show.
cyanure Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 here is what I find http://www.creationkit.com/Bethesda_Tutorial_Creating_an_Actor I specially like what is writted in the end of the text Bugs/Issues There is currently an issue where created actors do not export their facial data (scars, make-up, tones etc) onto the rendered NPCs in game. This can be temporarily rectified by opening the console and selecting the actor in-game, and typing "setnpcweight x" for the selected NPC. However, this only sets the skin tones to a normalized state, with no facial traits.
