Crash issues with Estrus

I'm having a problem with the base Estrus mod. Whenever I use the shout on other npcs, everything seems to work fine. But when I use the 'self' shout, I get a CTD when the animation finishes and my character attempts to stand.

 

Since it was working on the npcs in Whiterun I tested it on, I initially assumed it was a problem with the 'self' shout. But then I read somewhere in one of these threads that it might actually be because my character is a khajiit; that it just crashes whenever it uses a khajiit. I haven't yet tested whether I get CTD when I use the 'other' shout on a khajiit npc because they're a little hard to come by in Whiterun.

 

But assuming that is indeed the problem, Is there a workaround for this? Since many mods use the Estrus animations, I expect I would get crashes using any of those mods as well.

 

Also, are there any other notable tentacle mods? Surely Estrus and its.. um.. like 3 tentacle animations can't be the only tentacle animation set the community has come up with?

I believe all the mods that use estrus such as DD chests/traps have it as an "option", so select another animation if estrus is not installed or set as "off" in their own MCM menus.

 

As to Khajitt - i've seen some mods not being compatible, but don't remember which or if fixes exist. I don't run a khajitt as my PC, not seen any issues ingame when Khajitt have partaken in animations.

I've just started experiencing the same issue since I'm currently playing with a khajiit PC as well. I tried doing the estrus self shout after I changed my PC to a Nord and it worked fine after that. Its a pretty annoying little issue.

people keep runing into this problem?jeez,,,go grab deviously cursed loot and estrus chaurus+,install them and untick estrus in your modmanager,,,no scripts for the tentacles no ctds for the khajiit,simple as that..no estrus shouts but better than nothing
