Guest strike105x Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 Hi what i would like to make is something where i can assign hotkeys to control a specific npc (summon), the actions being: attack my selected target. use defined magic skill on target. follow player. Stop following. move to target (ie another npc for instance). Is this possible via scripting ?
birdo23 Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 I don't know about hotkeys, but I think I've seen similiar things been done with spells.. [video=youtube] Should be around 5:00
Sεraphim Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 I don't know anything about hotkeys and scripting and what not... but I do know that anything (with respective limits) is possible in technology. I'm sure there is some way to do it, just not many people (including myself) don't know how to do it
Guest strike105x Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 I would probably know how to do it with magic (if its similar to Oblivion), but it bugs me that unlike oblivion using magic deequips your weapon, unlike Oblivion you can't quite use magic and weapons together...
Sεraphim Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 I would probably know how to do it with magic For a second, I thought you meant you were gonna use magic in real life to create a mod for the game. Lmao, silly me. But I'm not sure, maybe you could use a mind control spell mod? I think I've seen that floating about somewhere. Dunno if that's what you're looking for though.
mikloud Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 If your talking about papyrus, there is no functionality to check for a key stroke. You will have to wait for documentation release of the new SKSE.
