No skill gain from opening locks with keys

It makes me a bit sad when I see my lockpicking skill increase from opening a lock with a key. By using a key you don't really pick the lock, which also means that you wouldn't learn anything from it. So how do I prevent my skill from increasing when using keys? I would add to realism if I had such a mod.
