Defeat issue

Hello All 

 

First off I am new to Skyrim and have learned much over the past week messing around with the program and all the mods themselves.

 

I have finally finally gotten to a point where I think I have SexLab where I like it and have been toying with other features. 

 

Now my problem may lie with Defeat and the DA. 

 

I have both the latest installed of each.  

Scenario:  I have started a new game I attack the first two guys in DawnStar (by the Smelter) They assault my PC then I ragdoll and either go to the lay on the ground in the Fetal position OR am attacked a second time then once that animation is finished and literally just lay there while everyone stands around me. I cannot move or do anything.  I am only able to go into the Save menu (and other menus out of the game) 

 

Please direct me to another post or solution if one is provided.  I have messed with many of the DA settings trying to see if it's the bleedout or ragdoll animation. 

 

Previously, I had the issue of being in the fetal position and then when I would change the camera to FP and then space bar to jump I COULD move but I was going through mountains and buildings and not able to interact or play with any of the NPCs

 

I know I am being somewhat vague but please understand I am at my wits end with this.

The fetal position should last until all the partecipants raped you...

Also, do you use death alternative? If so, in main option, did you try setting up ONLY BLEEDOUT and not BLEEDOUT AND RAGDOLL?

Yeah, the death alternative mod recommends turning off the ragdoll options to avoid possible conflicts. Check the sexlab menu, there is a page for user commands. Try the realign and reset scene options, also space bar to progress to next stage shoudl be able to get you out.

Yes I DID have the DA set to Ragdoll and Bleedout. 

 

I then changed it to just bleedout only but after maybe 6-7 replays (rape then die) I DID get ragdolled into the river once which it seems if I can get far away from the assailants I CAN get back to gameplay.  There was one play where I was stuck in the fetal position but moving through the water and mountains.  I attempted to Fast Travel back to Dawnstar but it wouldn't allow me since it stated I can't FT when Falling or Jumping

 

So there is some glitch with the animations AFTER all the assailants are done.  

 

I am apparently dying?  Even though my eyes are wide open and blinking and I just lay there 

One thing of note (don't know if it matters) the boobs seem to go flat and almost behind me as I die but IDK if that is really affecting the rape animations since they don't use the TBBP physics (there is some bounce but it's almost like the mesh is different for that are of the PC

 

Also in another topic all together is there a way to edit the sex animations somewhere as I find myself making minor adjustments to the positions but then having to wait for the animation to be selected in the NEXT playthrough  to see how much it was affected

I wouldn't know.....try and check loaad orders or compatibilities....also, are you sure you have all the requirements? And if so, are them the right versions? If they are too old, they will mess up things for sure

Hey all just as a followup...

 

I still don't know why I was getting frozen in the "death" animation.  I think the ONLY thing I did differently after several more playthroughs was to start and clean defeat initially at the VERY beginning of a playthrough after creating the character (although I'm not sure it really did anything and it's very annoying to reset up everything 2-3 times in a row just to test but...) and I didn't have the freeze up in 2 of the 3 playthroughs

 

I still have questions about the positioning adjustments to the participants in the Sex animations but I think I have narrowed it down to the .ssl files in the SexLab folder

I guess I just want to make sure that using (-) numbers on the "Adjust Forward" Slider means going to the Left and (+) means going Right?

 

It's also hard to estimate what those numbers really mean in-game.

 

Any help would be appreciated

If you have problems with animations you can also use the sexlab utilities to reset animations and the like and it tends to break you out of any animation. You can also disable defeat, save the game, exit the game. Log back in and then re-enable the mod. That will often fix many issues. But keep in mind Defeat is in beta so it has and will have bugs until it is finished. Just FYI.

 

As for the move keys in sexlab. I forget off the top of my head but you push the key and it moves one way and then if you hold I think either the alt or shift key and push the button it goes the other way. There should be should be 3 keys, one for up/down, left/right, back/forward. The default one direction and then you need to hold a key to get it to go reverse. It should be listed in the sexlab key set up in the MCM menu.

I actually accidentally saw some of what you're talking about but I was only able to move the female character and had no idea what to do or which other buttons to use.  I think I did it maybe 3 or 4 times out of numerous playthroughs but couldn't cancel it and then pressed other buttons and lost the view of the scene entirely 

 

So if someone has a key map or knows what the options are to adjust the sex animations by all means let me know.

The key map is in the sexlab MCM menu. There is a button i think K which switches from one character to the other so you can adjust each of them.

Alright guys. 

 

For completion and now some weeks of playthroughs the culprit was MOST likely Death alternative and it's system of variability in which animation is to be played.  

 

There WAS one playthrough where after a rape animation the entire area went purple and I was simply floating around in some netherworld frozen in the jump pose but I believe the Reset function in the Death Alternative mod SHOULD correct that issue.  

 

Thank you Nutluck for the key maps info and I believe the stay down toggle should not be used as many of the issues I had was because of it being enabled.  I'm sure there is a way for it to work but for my setup it just wasn't worth it.  

 

I hope this can help others or someone else that may have had issue.
