NPC Creation Texture

I am having a problem creating a custom NPC. I follow the steps here from Bagserk's - Guide to a Standalone Follower Part 1 (updated 03/01/13) on youtube to the letter yet when I try to link my texture to my mesh (I am using Dimonized UNP, Femfeet and Feminine Hands), I always receive the texture off Astrid and her performance of the black sacrament. I have tired without the listed mods and still no avail. Could someone help me? I would like to apply the texture from here SG Female Texture renewal on Nexus. The reason is to apply some intricate tattoos.

Please be understanding, besides some tutorial videos I have very little experience modding. My aim is to create a Custom raced Standalone Follower
